Regardless, if it's competitive enough to get dropped on the Advanced Forum Competitive Combo list I see no reason not to put it on.

Well... you've got a good point there. :\ It shows up in winning combos a lot, and there are 3 Genbull Dragooon combos on the list already.

I prefer Reviser on Dragooon, but Genbull is top-tier now. I'll put that in when I can.
Sorry for the double post, but I've finally, finally updated the draft! I apologize for any... er... time consuming comments I've made posting in this thread. XD I hope you guys can forgive me for going off into a somewhat pointless argument.

Anyway, I am proud to present, the draft!

So? Whaddaya think?
Just to let you know, Genbull's weight is 30.8 grams.
???

Really? Can you weigh the other parts?
That's what Beywiki says already, which I assume is where he got that. The weight was added by Kei so it should be accurate.

It's probably worth making a point that increased friction is usually bad for stamina tips in the TB description.

Also, is there testing on how F230(G)CF compares to the other LAD choices (primarily SA165EWD, though it would also be pertinent to compare B: D, its other major competitior)?

I would mention the lack of a bearing right after it says "completely free spinning" as it is still going to have notable friction.

The difference between the different colors needs to be highlighted more though I'm not sure how you'd go about that as I still struggle to believe it's a difference related to molding unless Takara Tomy are horrible people. You did use the wrong homophone for wear in there though (there are a couple of other small errors along those lines but it's more important to get the content down first).
F230 completely stomps all other Spin-Equalization setups... like, we're talking ALL OF THEM. It out-spins EWD by a mile. It's ridiculous. The thing has such incredibly high Life After Death that it's literally unbeatable with an opposite-spin Stamina/Defense type.

Also, the different colored editions are far, far, far apart in performance. Orange is so much better than Brown/Red, it's totally unbelievable unless you see it for yourself. In fact, if you look at the competitive list, F230 customs are listed specifically using the orange F230, since the red/brown ones aren't even near viable.

As for having an increased amount of friction due to the absence of bearings, there's actually very little friction. In fact, my F230 is actually smoother than my Takara B : D (4-minute mold). It's totally insane. Believe me, the thing is crazy (and ban-worthy, IMO).

As for the edits, I'll get to them as soon as I can. Smile
To be fair there's quite a difference between a good B: D and a bad one (which can change with wearing in as it isn't a mold difference but due to differences between individual bearing smoothness, I'm 99% sure, either way mine was originally around 4 mins but after some wearing in, it's up over 7 minutes now.)

Also, not to go off topic, but I gotta know, does that same efficacy apply to limited (esp. with meteo?)
Genbull: 30.9g
Bandid: 4.8g
F230: 4.6g
TB: 0.7g
Update time! I've formatted the draft appropriately for Beywiki, as well as inserted a mention of Hasbro's newly released orange F230 track.

__TOC__

==Stone Face: Genbull==
*'''Weight:''' 1.2 grams
The sticker on this Stone Face represents a comical illustration of a turtle shell with an eye peering from the hole. Genbull is based on Genbu, or Xuan Wu, the black tortoise with a snake coiling around it in Chinese mythology.

==Chrome Wheel: Genbull==
*'''Weight:''' 30.8 grams
Sat atop a very circular base is a mostly hexagonal shape. Four straight lines, to on each side, create a design reminescent of the [[Libra DF145BS|Libra Wheel]]. Another mostly straight edge is built at the top of the Genbull Chrome Wheel, where the Crystal Wheel's orb is inserted. At the bottom, however, there is a small turtle head designed but it does not protrude that much from the overall circular shape of the real bottom of this Chrome Wheel.

Having a concentrated center of gravity, overall above-average weight, even weight distribution, and a relatively symmetrical, circular, smooth shape, Genbull has shown serious competitive use in stamina customizations in both the Attack Type Beystadium and the Zero-G Attack Type Stadium when used with the TB and CS Bottoms and the TH170/SR200 tracks (benefiting from TH170/SR200's optimal center of gravity), and posses considerable defensive potential in mid-height customizations as well.

Genbull's above-average weight renders it superior in the face of other competitive Stamina Metal Wheels such as Duo when used in a Zero-G attack-type stadium, for the sake of resisting Sway Attack types. Chrome Wheel combinations such as Killerken Genbull and Genbull Genbull dominate the Zero-G metagame as Stamina types go due to the reasons stated above.

Genbull's heavy weight, smooth outer edge, and inward focused center of gravity render it an very viable choice for mid-height defensive customizations, (Genbull has considerable recoil from below, and as such would not be an effective selection for the bottom Chrome Wheel on an E230-based defenders), even out-doing Reviser in some instances.

Genbull has shown to be on par with Duo in Stamina match-ups, even in a BB-10 Attack Beystadium when used with the right Track and Bottom combination, and as such is considered by some to be an extremely competitive choice for stamina due to its impressive defensive properties, weight, and synergy with the TB and CS bottoms, and the TH170 and SR200 tracks.

==When used as the top Chrome Wheel in a Synchrom==
Genbull can provide very impressive Stamina when used as the top Chrome Wheel in a Synchrom, as well as noticeable defensive properties.

It has notable Stamina when paired with the Chrome Wheels Killerken and Reviser, and can also be utilized in many Defense customs with these two to provide a boost in Stamina, and as such is very competitive in terms of Stamina/Defense when used as the top Chrome Wheel in a Synchrom.

==When used as the bottom Chrome Wheel in a Synchrom==
Genbull can provide a minor boost in Spin Velocity on the bottom of a Synchrom, due to its ideal weight distribution and shape, but there is no real competitive use for it outside of spin equalization. Genbull can perform much, much better when used as the top Chrome Wheel in a Synchrom or when Synchromed with itself in conventional Stamina/Defense customizations.

However, Genbull has shown competitive ability when used as the bottom Chrome Wheel in Dragooon Spin-Equalizers. Its low recoil and high Stamina capabilities make it an optimal choice when using a Dragooon Spin-Equalizer, and Genbull has become top-tier in many Dragooon-Based customs.

==When used Synchromed with itself==
Genbull is an very, very successful stamina Chrome Wheel when used in a Synchrom with itself. Genbull Genbull has found many uses in stamina customizations throughout the BB-10 Attack-type Beystadium and Zero-G Attack-type Stadium metagames, and can also be utilized effectively in mid-height defensive customs. This Chrome Wheel can be an extremely effective tool when paired with the right parts, and as such, has been one of the most competitively useful chrome wheels to be released.

==Use in Stamina Customization==
For the various reasons stated in the above paragraphs, Genbull can be utilized to extreme effect in the following stamina customizations both in the BB-10 Attack Beystadium and the Zero-G Attack type Stadium:

Genbull Genbull SR200TB/CS
Genbull Genbull TH170TB

==Use in Spin-Equalization customization==
Genbull, for the reasons stated above, can be utilized very effectively in the following Spin-Equalization based customs:

Genbull Dragooon T125GCF
(MSF(-H/L/M)) Genbull Dragooon F230CF/GCF
(MSF-H) Genbull Dragooon SA165EWD (normal mode)

==Crystal Wheel: Bandid==
*'''Weight:''' 4.8 grams
A clear derivative of a "bandit", Bandid oddly does not have a design reminiscent of those characters. It vaguely illustrates some longer daggers, but it mostly complements Goreim's shape entirely: like the latter, this Crystal Wheel has block shapes with ridges in them. Its original color is green, however Bandid Genbull's release is navy blue.

As all Crystal Wheels, Bandid is heavily outclassed by the whole Synchrom possibility, and even by Metal Wheels from the Maximum Series and the 4D System. The Bandid Crystal Wheel should never be considered for competitive play.

==Track: Free 230==
*'''Weight:''' 4.6 grams
This Track's gimmick is that it is completely free-spinning. It is implied that it can make the Chrome Wheel it is attached to rotate in the opposite direction to the one it was launched in, simply after a hit with another Beyblade of the same original spin. However, in practice this would both be impossible, and, due to the fact the Beyblade would momentarily be stationary as it changed directions, result in an automatic loss.
F230's core section is larger than regular tracks such as 145 and 230 to accommodate the free-spinning mechanism, while the end of the Track bears a much larger version of the irregular structure used for the base of most Bottoms. This change in size allows a Blader to grip and stabilize part of the Track in order to securely screw a Bottom onto F230's end, which would otherwise be complex because of its free-spinning nature.

The F230 Track, although shown to be outclassed by 230 in terms of conventional stamina customizations, has shown startling potential in the field of spin-equalization when used with the CF/GCF bottoms.

The free-spinnig shaft of F230 allows the combination using it to continue rotating after it has fallen onto the wide ridge of CF/GCF, which keeps the Metal/Chrome Wheel from touching the ground as the upper section of the Beyblade spins, providing a very prominent display of LAD capabilities.

An F230CF/GCF setup has proven to contain some of, if not the, highest Life After Death of any Track-Bottom setup ever, and as such is extremely useful in spin-equalizing customizations in both BB-10 or Zero-G format.

TAKARA TOMY released this track in two different beyblades, one of which was Bandid Genbull. The second version of the track was released with Thief Saramanda F230SF in the BBG-26 Random Booster vol. 3. Hasbro also released this track in the Behemoth Golem Earth Synchrom 2-pack, with Berserker Behemoth F230TB, and in the Bandit Genbu F230TB starter.

The F230 released with Saramanda is brown in color, and the track released with Hasbro's Shogun Steel Earth Synchrome 2-pack is red in color, as opposed to the bright orange track purchased with Bandid Genbull. Hasbro's F230 released in the Bandit Genbull F230TB Shogun Steal starter is identical in color to its orange TAKARA TOMY counterpart.

The brown and red F230 tracks, along with Hasbro's orange F230 have shown problems with ware, and the free-spinning function of the track seems to be hindered, squeaking and scraping, as opposed to the smooth, consistent free-spinning function of the Takara Tomy orange F230, which works very well when applied to spin-equalization.

==Use in Spin-Equalization customization==
The F230 track, for the reasons stated above, can be utilized in the following spin-equalizing customizations.

Reviser/Genbull/Killerken/Gargole Dragooon F230CF/GCF
Duo Cygnus/Cancer F230CF/GCF

==Bottom: Twin Ball==
*'''Weight:''' 0.7 grams
TB is simply a Wide Ball Bottom with a smaller ball at its tip. This causes it to wobble slightly.

TB has found potential in stamina customizations in both the BB-10 Attack Beystadium and the Zero-G Attack Type Stadium. Its movement pattern and increased amount of friction with the stadium floor as opposed to D-series Bottoms allows it to resist rotational recoil more effectively than other conventional Stamina Bottoms. TB is preferred over most Bottoms for Stamina against opponents using the same spin in Zero-G stadiums due to its impressive ability to resist sway attack types, something which other popular Zero-G stamina bottoms such as BWD/W2D cannot do.

TB, as shown by testing so far, can be utilized very effectively when used with SR200 or TH170, allowing it to wobble at an optimal angle and take advantage of a beneficial center of gravity, and also performs notably well when used with the Genbull Chrome Wheel, taking advantage of its weight by utilizing its movement pattern/resistance to rotational recoil to reduce the opponents spin velocity by repeatedly inflicting rotational damage.

However, unlike WD or EWD, TB is relatively vulnerable to opposite-spin customizations due to its rounded shape, and one should avoid using it in an opposite-spin match-up whenever possible, as stamina setups like W145WD are a safer pick in such a scenario.

Despite this fact, as shown by its impressive numbers against same-spin opponents, TB is definitely a competitive stamina part in any stadium format, and is an essential part to any blader majoring in Stamina.

==Use in Stamina customizations==
TB, for the reasons stated above, can be utilized effectively in the following stamina customizations.

Genbull Genbull/Duo Aquario SR200/TH170TB

The Genbull Chrome Wheel and TB bottom are both must-have parts for bladers majoring in stamina, and F230 has shown extremely high LAD capabilities and serious potency when used with spin-equalizing setups. Almost every part on this beyblade (with the exception of Bandid) is very, very competitive. Every seriously competitive blader should own at least one of this beyblade.

I'd say it's about ready to post. What do you guys think?
I think it's ready to post. I can't believe I just now read through all of this. Good job TheBlackDragon.
Is Genbull's weight distribution really inwardly focussed? It's more of a donut with a fair bit of weight on that outer edge from the thick walls, which is better than you can say for most Zero G.
Do we not only have two Members in the whole community who own the Hasbro orange F230 and no actual tests involving it yet ?
Leone19 was going to do some, I believe. Maybe shoot him a PM and see what progress is like?
It's weight looks inwardly focused to me for the most part.

-V: That's one thing I was worried about, but considering both players have written explaining how inferior it is, I think it would be relatively safe to post it as is.

Testing would definitely be good, though.
At most it would be like... Midway? But it's definitely not inward focussed. Those outer walls/sloped edges are pretty darn thick, and the rest of the shape just generally has thick points with little underside relief towards the edge. There's a bit midway and the centre section isn't fully relieved underneath from what I can tell, but that still leaves it about midway, not inward focussed.

It's a reasonably compact wheel compared to various 4D wheels, which might be worth mentioning however it's pretty average for Zero-G and the distribution in and of itself definitely isn't inwardly focussed.
nitpicky thing, but where it says "have shown problems with ware" it should be wear.
Update!

Change "ware" to "wear," and changed "inward" to "uncommonly compact."
That's still the same thing... It's definitely not unusually compact at all compared to most Metal Wheels. Basalt is compact. Genbull is just middling.
Should I write "uncommonly compact for a Chrome Wheel"?

Because it honestly looks like it to me. It diameter isn't so small, but it certainly isn't as outward focused as Revizer, Girago, Balro, Wyvang, or other competitive Chrome Wheels I'm looking at. The edges are reeeeeeaaaallly thin/hollow.

Should I just remove it altogether, maybe? If it's relatively uncertain/unimportant maybe I should just cut that part out.
... No that's even worse - it's somewhere around the middle of the pack for Chrome Wheels because of a few particularly edge focussed things like Killerken, presumably Gargole and Bahamdia (though these are all lighter) but it's still one of the Wider Chrome wheels, the panels are thicker than they look and have a look at the block of metal around the peg hole - not only how much wider it is towards the outer edge but also how much thicker. On the other side, there's the head, and the triangular columns on the inside of the outer edge - all more weight towards the edge. The inner channel goes down most of the way, too. The most comparable thing I can find is probably Libra (mold 3), with the holes in Libra being compensated for by Genbull's greater width. Again, I'd say the horizontal centre of mass or w/e it's called would be at the top of the walls, about half way out.

I disagree on most of those being more edge focussed. Genbull is one of the wider Chrome wheels and it has those triangular columns underneath it around the outer edge which are quite thick, and again, those panels are thicker than they look. A lot of the things you mentioned have large, thick details on their tops - Balro for example has a bunch of thick sections throughout, Revizer is probably a bit more edge focussed, and Wyvang uhhh I don't know if you noticed those struts but there is no way Wyvang is more edge-focussed than Genbull) and Genbull is also a little wider than most of them, even if it is just that outer lip.

You do need to mention the weight distribution, I would say it is unspecialized - neither particularly outward nor particularly compact for a Chrome wheel, but mention when talking about stamina use (obviously keep in mind some parts apply to genbull genbull only) that despite not having a particularly edge focussed (we need a better word for this) weight distribution, genbull genbull's immense weight compared to competitive stamina wheels more than compensates for this given its relatively low recoil and good balance (excellent balance for a synchrome, really). With other chrome/crystal wheels, the distribution is compensated for by its decent balance and the round outer lip which protrudes past a majority of other Chrome Wheels.

If you want more evidence that it's not compact, think about what effect that would have on spin-stealing even with the decent balance and outer lip - think about your MF-M tests, yeah? Balance is good, as is that edge, but your LAD is going to suffer if you're using something that is legitimately compact.
I know. Part of my conclusion was based on the fact that I actually got sub-par results with Genbull as a spin-stealing Chrome Wheel, and between that and what I saw from the underside I concluded it probably had an unusually compact center of gravity.

Are you sure? 'Cause I totally trust your judgment, but my Genbull is no wider than my other Chrome Wheels (except Balro, but everything's wider than Balro). Genbull also has some thick protrusions on its top near the center, which aren't hollow at all underneath. Also, with Wyvang, if you haven't noticed those thick curving bumps that make up its edge, are on, well, the edge.

IDK if I'm just missing something, but yah that's what it looks like. I'll try to add something of the like to what you said later today if I get the chance (busy working on videos, ZRG Attack testing, schoolwork, and going to dinner with the family, so yah... pretty burn-out day LOL).
The very edge of the lip juts out just a littttle further than where most Chrome Wheels end - they're not super thick either, but they are around most of the circumference so it's no small thing. I know about those snake details - not super thick but if you look at them you'll notice they are quite thin except for the point where they reach the highest point - they are part of why it's more midway than either inward or outward. It's still doing better than a lot of other Chrome wheels, though.

As for sub-par spin-stealing results, keep in mind the other spin stealing chrome wheels are definitely from the edge-focussed end of the spectrum (though of course, they are all also generally mostly round - technically orojya *kinda* works, but it's of similar width to genbull and that means the bumpy outer edge protrudes slightly - not all that great).

A few other chrome wheels are of similar width, but those that are competitive? Bahamdia is wider, I don't know about Girago and Gargole, but the rest? Well I guess some of them are around the same at their widest protrusions, but for the most part if you put together a Genbull _____ synchrome and run your fingernail down the side you'll catch one of genbull's edges (the slight bevel on its underside does exaggerate this, but it's still more than obvious once you get past that).

In wyvang's case, the main thing is those struts but the raised claws or whatever they are aren't that much raised from where they are in the centre - the rest of the wheel slopes down slightly, exaggerating how much thicker they appear. The wheel itself slopes up slightly from the centre to a degree but the underside channel is shallow enough to more than compensate for this.

So yeah I'm sure of it (especially as I've been pretty focussed on weight distribution since coming back to MFB - it's one of the biggest parts of customization in plastics so I've been pretty focussed on it in MFB too) - keep in mind I'm not saying Genbull is particularly edge focussed, just that it is definitely not compact or inward focussed.
OK, sounds good (but yah, Genbull is definitely no wider than most of the Chrome Wheels I have (which is all of them), certainly not wider than Revizer is by any stretch from what I can see).

How exactly should I put that in the article? My mind is kinda just blanking out a intervals right now and I can't think of anything.
That's odd... Do the nail thing like I said - it's pretty much exactly the same as Orojya, just juts out slightly, with Orojya it's pretty noticeable because of its edges, but genbull is smooth so you don't see it as much, but your nails will show you. Unless those edges got really worn or something - the difference with Revizer in particular is pretty slim but it'd be weird for all of them to be that worn.

I'm about to sleep, but I'm really not sure what to call it. Actually wording weight distributions aside from Compact is something I've always struggled with - wide describes width rather than focus and edge focussed means nothing without a width, so I go with Distal (the anatomical term for "away from the centre") there. Unspecialized doesn't quite sound right as it carries negative connotations... Will give it some thought.
I made some edits and comments.
