I woke up as a fist charged at my face. I quickly dodged it. I looked up to see my best friend, Mike Arutan. "Joey! The tournament is starting in 10 minutes!" He shouted frantically. "Dang!" I shouted. I threw on some skinny jeans, a green t-shirt, and rustled my long brown hair. I looked in the mirror, and saw my own two brown eyes. "I, Joey Ryutan, will kick butt." I said to myself. I grabbed my favorite bey, Reviser Saramanda 90RDF, threw it in the air, and caught it with a smile. "Hey Joey! Enough staring at yourself, let's go!" Shouted Mike. We ran as fast as we could. Mike had put on his signature black hoodie and loose jeans. His black get-up matched with his black hair. I registered quickly and listened for who was battling. The Blader DJ walked up to a podium. "The first match is.... Joey Ryutan versus Shadow!" shouted DJ. "Who is Shadow?" I thought to myself. I walked up to the stadium, I faced a hooded figure. Shadow was silent, breathing heavily. I readied my bey, I saw a glimpse of my opponent's bey, Dragoon Ifraid W145SWD. I felt scared, just looking into Shadow's eyes. "3,2,1 GO SHOOT!" We yelled. Shadow lifted his hand in the air, and Dragoon soared into the air. Shadow brung his hand down in a swift motion. Dragoon smashed into my Reviser. "Break out of it!" I shouted. Reviser smashed into Dragoon, knocking him in the air. Shadow threw his head back and laughed. Then a dark voice shouted; " Special Move! Forbidden Hell!" A demon erupted out of Dragoon. It let out a roar that rattled the whole stadium. I looked up and thought to myself, "I'm Screwed."

Dragoon's beast towered over Reviser. The beast struck Reviser into the ground. Shadow was grinning ear to ear. I felt the power consume me. A blue aura surrounded me and Reviser's spirit consumed me. A Levithan warrior erupted out of Reviser. It wielded rwo axes. "Special Move! Levithan Stealth Smash!" I yelled! The two beasts clashed with tremendous force. I was knocked back by the power. Shadow saw his opportunity and his darkness consumed me. "Noooooooooo!' I shouted.

I woke up in a hospital bed with Mike and DJ looking at me. "Are you okay?" they both said in sync. "Yes, I am will have my vengence on Shadow!" I said. "I have









my next match coming up, I'm facing dude named Adrain Berdych, now get some rest bro." he calmly stated. I fell asleep, pondering about my previous match. I felt that it wouldn't be the last time I would see Shadow and his Dragoon Ifraid...

Chapter 3
Teamwork
I quickly recovered after my battle with Shadow. He seemed corrupted and no longer in control, like a puppet. Mike was so excited for his next battle. I heard DJ's voice fill the air; "The next match will be a tag team battle, pick your partners Adrian and Mike!" The person named Adrian stepped up to the stadium. He had a white shirt,blue jeans, bushy brown hair, and a very expensive looking watch. "I pick... Ruki Takanori!" Adrian said with a little side-note of, "We're so gonna win." Ruki had white spiky hair with black streaks, blue eyes, a long white sleeve shirt with a collar,a black sleeveless jacket, black skinny jeans, black tennis shoes, and a piercing on his left ear. " I am the 3rd best blader is Japan, I will beat you with my Gryph Gargole E230CS." said Ruki in a nice, yet dark voice. "Well, I will be at his





side, with my Oroyja Killerken AD145SB!" yelled Adrian in a cocky voice. Mike started to grin. "I choose Joey Ryutan and his Reviser Saramanda 90RDF!" Exclaimed Mike. We readied our beys, and my pulse was getting faster. " 3,2,1 GO SHOOT!" We yelled. Oroyja circled toward the center and went into a defensive position. Adrian's Beserker Golem DF145CF zoomed around the stadium and knocked into Oroyja. My Reviser smacked into Gryph, and both beys were cornered. Adrian got agitated and shouted, "You will not defy me! Special Move! Attack of the Kraken!" Mike rose to the occasion. "Special Move! Rage Quake!" yelled Mike. A Kraken erupted out of Oroyja and a armored Golem erupted out of Beserker. Beserker smashed the ground while Oroyja dashed towards. A explosion filled the arena... Oroyja had been knocked out! I decided to finish it off. "Go! Reviser! Leviathan Axe Smash!" I yelled. I rushed towards Gryph. Ruki smirked. Gryph dodged the attack with incredible accuracy. I was flabbergasted. Gryph smashed into Reviser. I tried my special move again, it failed. "Special Move! Upper Wind Burst!" yelled Ruki. Graph was surrounded by air and charged at Reviser and knocked him in the air. I unleashed my inner spirit. A green aura surrounded me. "Special Move! Raging Serpent Outburst!" I yelled. A swarm of serpents bashed into

Gryph, instantly knocking him out of the stadium. Me and Mike were the victors. I knew there would be many more victories to come...

A New Friend, and a New Opponent!
I met up with Ruki at the park after the match. He actually seemed like a nice guy! "My Homeland is Japan, I am new here in the U.S.A." said Ruki. "Oh Cool! So, if you are the 3rd best in Japan, who is the first?" I questioned. "His name is Tyo Arin, the wielder of Diablo Dreadlock SA165MF, he is most feared." Replied Ruki. I have heard of Tyo from the news, he had been in so many tournaments and placed every time. I looked over my shoulder to see a poster. It read ; "Worldwide Team Tournament! Make a team of 3 and climb your way to Victory!" I jumped in the air. "Ruki, would you like to join a team! It will be called.... The Vanquishers!" I exclaimed. "Sure." replied Ruki. I was so happy! Mike, Ruki, and I would show the world our power! In the middle of my inspirational thought a figure appeared. "I am Zeo Crown and my Phoenic Gryph SA165BMF challenge you!" he said. I knew he
would be a formidable opponent

Ruki's Spirit
As soon as the person named Zeo challenged us, Ruki pushed everyone out of the way. "I will battle you with my Gryph Gargole E230CS!" Ruki exclaimed proudly. A grin slowly appeared on Zeo's face. "Okay then!" Zeo replied. I could tell Zeo was hiding something, and Ruki was going to find it out. Zeo had blue jeans with yellow stripes going down each leg, black sneakers, a white and black short sleeve shirt with a blue shirt. They readied their beys, and I could feel Ruki's determination. " 3,2,1 GO SHOOT!" they shouted. Ruki's Gryph smashed into Pheonic and blew it back. Then Zeo used his hidden trick. Phoenic soared up on the air and stayed there! "Aha! You cannot hit what you cannot reach!" exclaimed Zeo. Ruki gritted his teeth. "I am not weak, I am not going to be defeated, I CAN DO ANYTHING!" yelled Ruki. He was surrounded in a red aura. Gryph used the edge of the stadium to soar into the air. "Now Gryph! SPECIAL MOVE! CLAWING ASSAULT!" yelled Ruki, his heart burning for victory. In a rapid succession, Gryph barrage attacked Pheonic so fast it stole his spin, and when Phoenic stopped, Gryph bashed him besides Zeo. "How? What? I will be back to defeat you, Ruki!" yelled Zeo in response to his loss. A grin spread across Ruki's face. I knew Ruki should not be one to judge on power...

Chapter 7
I walked up to the stadium, my heart pounding.
"You can do this Golem!" I thought to myself.
Aime had a grin on his face.
"3,2,1 GO SHOOT!" We yelled.
"GO! GOLEM!" I shouted.
Golem smacked into Orion, as Orion clashed back.
"Orion! Uppercut Em'!" He yelled.
Orion made Golem fly into the air, flipping in place.
"Go down Golem!" I screamed.
Golem went down, grinding Orion against the stadium floor.
"Orion! Barrage!" Aime commanded.
I gritted my teeth, I knew this was his specialty. Orion repeatedly attacked Golem. Aime saw his opportunity.
"Special Move! Nova Starlight!" Aime yelled.
Orion's barrage attack got faster, and faster, until Orion's beast came out, and blasted Golem next to me.
"I let you down Golem." I thought to myself.
"Good try, but my power is superior!" said Aime in a bragging voice.
"It's okay broski, you will get better if you train!" Joey said, calming me.
"Thanks Joe, I needed that." I replied.
Freud came out, then held up his bey, smiling and laughing.
"You are weak! You will not stand a chance against my Dark Knight Pheonic S130LRF!" insulted Freud, surrounded in a dark aura.
Freud attached his bey to his launcher, still smiling.
"GO SHOOT!" he yelled.
Pheonic circled in the stadium, creating a dark vortex that consumed everything. I held on to a bench to avoid being swept away.
"STOP!" Joey shouted.
He launched his Reviser at Pheonic. A bright light consumed the darkness, as I saw Phoenic and Reviser soar out of the stadium.
"Save it for the battle Freud!" Joey yelled at Freud.
I knew Joey would always have a pure spirit, that would aid him on his journey to victory...

I was boiling mad at Freud. His bey was over-powerful, and he almost caused the demise of the park.
"The next match will be between Ruki and Lindsay!" shouted the French DJ.
Ruki had a determined grin on his face, that was just itching for victory.
"Be Careful! I can be very destructive!" said Lindsay.
"I do not care, I will win for my team!" shouted Ruki.
I knew Ruki would not be stopped in this battle.
"3,2,1 GOOOOO SHOOT!" Lindsay and Ruki yelled.
"Golem! Go to the center!" commanded Lindsay.
Golem raced towards the center of the stadium, and stayed there.
"Is that your technique? Hah!" said Ruki.
Lindsay smiled as Gryph raced towards Golem in a zig-zag pattern. As soon as Gryoh made contact, with Golem, he was shot back into the stadium wall.
"Gryph! Recover!" Ruki desperately yelled.
Gryph got up, and shot Golem back.
"GOOOOOOOOOO!" they both shouted.
Gryph and Golem clashed in a intense hold, causing sparks to fly everywhere.
"Special Move! Ground Snipe!" yelled Lindsay.
Golem dug under ground, disappearing from Ruki's sight. Everything was silent until.. Golem came up from the ground, launching Gryph high into the air.
"You are done for!" bragged Lindsay.
Ruki started to smile.
"There is always a way to win, Lindsay." remarked Ruki.
"Special Move! Wind Reverse Downstrike!" yelled Ruki.
A tornado appeared in the sky, then grew larger and larger. Then, it came down, consuming the whole stadium. Golem was swept out of the stadium and landed in a tree behind Lindsay.
"No! Golem!" cried Lindsay.
Ruki smiled and stepped back to his seat. Ruki had done well today, but next, it was my turn, and Freud stood in my way, and was determined to stop him..

Chapter 9
Emerge! Dark Knight's Attack!
I was very nervous. I would be facing the leader of the French Team. I clutched Reviser in my hand.
"We can do this!" I thought to myself.
"The final match is.... Joey Ryutan vs Freud Emprunte!"
I finally really got to get a look a Freud. He had blonde, wavy hair, light blue eyes, and wore a robe with a noble amount of jewels and badges.
"You will be stunned by Dark Knight's power!" yelled Freud.
This was it, my first opportunity to show the world my worth.
I felt my heart rate rise and my energy become visible.
"3,2,1 GO SHOOOOT!" we yelled.
"DARK KNIGHT!" shouted Freud.
Dark Knight smacked in Reviser, knocking him back.
"Recover!" I commanded.
Reviser got up and hit Dark Knight's crystal wheel, cracking it.
"Hah! That won't stop me!" yelled Freud as Dark Knight hit Reviser.
A dark aura was slowly absorbing Freud. He let out a menacing laugh.
"Spin! Increase your velocity!" screamed Freud.
Dark Knight Spanish faster and faster until a vortex emerged. Reviser was slowly being dragged in.
"Reviser!" I cried.
"THERE IS NO USE! SPECIAL MOVE! DARK IMPALE!" roared Freud, the dark aura consuming him even more.
A giant Dark Knight erupted out of Dark Knight. He swayed his sword in a circular motion, creating a black hole.
A green aura surrounded me.
"NEVER GIVE UP HOPE! SPECIAL MOVE! RAGING LEVITHAN FURY!" I yelled.
Reviser stood his ground until a giant Levithan warrior erupted out of Reviser. He plunged his axes rapidly into the vortex as it subsided. The axes finally made the blow, and it was over.
"Yes!" I exclaimed.
Dark Knight was lodged into the ground next to Freud.
"Congratulations! You will advance to face the Greek team!" yelled DJ.
I put my fist in the air, in victory.
I knew the Greek team could be a major threat...

Chapter 10
The Greek Team
I got on the flight just in time. We were on our way to Greece. I wondered how the Greek team would be.
"We have arrived in Greece, have a nice trip." said the loudspeaker.
Mike was awakened by the voice.
"Wha? Oh!" he muttered getting up.
Ruki was already out of his seat, walking out of the plane. I hurried out so I could catch up. We were greeted by the Greek team.
"We are The Divine Destroyers, I am the team captain, Keenan Arcadia." he said.
Keenan had long black hair that went down to his waist that covered half his face showing to green eyes, a black and white hoodie, black converse shoes, and a ring on his index finger that had "KA" carved into it.
"I use Sphere Orion 125SR" he added.
"Hi! I am Xena Demo, I use Jade Rex R145CS." she said.
Xena had blonde hair, green eyes, and a white dress.
A girl hopped next to her.
"I am Angell Demo, I use Death Gil 100WD." she exclaimed.
Angell had brown hair, blue eyes, and a black dress.
I figured these battles in Greece would be tough ones...

The whole team was excited to face the Greek team.
"I wonder who I will face?" wondered Mike.
"Today we will have a special match, requested by Mr.Arcadia, we will have a team battle royale!" shouted the Greek DJ.
"Wha?" Mike, Ruki, and I gasped at once.
Keenan smiled and Xena and Angell jumped in excitement.
"This is our specialty, watch out Vanquishers." said Keenan.
I knew this could be very risky.
"3,2,1 GOOO SHOOT!" we yelled.
The Greek team seemed to form a line.
"Go Now!" the Greek team shouted.
The line of beys cornered Reviser, Golem, and Gryph.
"Break out!" I shouted.
Reviser smacked Rex and Gil out of the way.
"Get them now! SPECIAL MOVE! RAGE QUAKE!" yelled Mike.
The whole stadium shook, Orion, Gil, and Rex were sent into the air.
"Duo Move! Diamond Break!" shouted Xena and Angell.
Rex and Gil came down in a diamond-infested veil, knocking out Golem.
"Damnit!" cried Mike. I looked over to see Orion grinding Ruki's Gryph against the wall. I looked at Ruki, he had a dark veil surrounding him.
"Ruki are you okay?" I questioned.
His red eyes looked over.
"LEAVE ME ALONE!" He shouted on reply.
Keenan had a sign of fear in his eyes.
"SPECIAL MOVE! TIME SPHERE!" yelled Keenan.
Orion turned to left spin, speeding up time. Ruki's dark veil grew bigger.
"SPECIAL MOVE! HELL DEATH WING!" Ruki screamed.
The whole stadium exploded. Orion and Reviser had been struck out, and all the other beys too, except for Gryph. Ruki laid motionless on the floor...

Chapter 12
Ireland's Team
I woke up on a plane. Lots of thoughts flowed through my head. Who had won the match? Where was I going? And what had happened during that match? Then I remembered. I was overwhelmed by darkness, and it transformer my spirit and soul into pure darkness. I looked over to see Mike staring at me.
"Joey! Ruki's awake!" yelled Mike.
Joey ran over with a smile on his face.
"Ruki! You won the match! We're going to Ireland! But, what happened to you?" questioned Joey.
"I don't know." I replied.
"We have arrived in Ireland, enjoy you're stay." said a loudspeaker.
We were greeted by a group of people.
"Hello! We are the Serpents! I am the team captain, Carlin O'Carroll, I use Flash Saggitario CH120R2F!" Carlin said.
A boy hopped beside him.
"Hey! I'm Keir Walsh! I use Archer Killerken DF145WD!" he said.
Then, a girl skipped over.
"Ello' I'm Maebh Gallagher! I use Duo Striker 230CS."
"Hello! We are the Vanquishers! I use Reviser Saramanda 90RDF!"
Then Joey's mouth opened wide. 90 was barely holding on, many cracks and dents. RDF was demolished.
"Well, time to go to the Bey-Shop and get some new parts!" said Mike.
"I did this, my dark form really beat up Reviser." I thought to myself.
"Hey bros! I'm Mike! I use Beserker Golem DF145CF!" said Mike to the Irish team.
"I am Ruki Takanori. I use Gryph Gargole E230CS." I said.
Joey ran to the nearest Bey-Shop. After awhile he came back.
"Say hello to Saramanda Reviser BD145CS! My new bey!" He yelled.
I knew his new bey would aid him even more on his journey...

Chapter 13
Mike's Potential
It was time for the first match between The Vanquishers and The Serpents.
"Ello' Today we have..... Mike Arutan vs Keir Walsh!" shouted the DJ.
Mike gritted his teeth. I knew he did not want to lose.
"I will win! My losses are behind me!" Mike shouted.
"Be warned, my Archer Killerken has great power." replied Keir.
Then the legendary countdown began.
"3,2,1 GOOOOO SHOOT!" they yelled.
Killerken dashed to the very edge of the stadium.
"What strategy is that?" Mike questioned.
Golem started to dash towards Killerken. Then, Killerken started to circle the stadium on the edge. It created a vacuum that started to suck in Golem.
"That, is my strategy." said Keir, grinning from ear to ear.
Golem reached the edge of the stadium, and Killerken circled and smashed into Golem, smacking it into the air.
"I've had ENOUGH!" yelled Mike as a purple aura surrounded him.
Golem came down, landing right on his tip from 10,000 feet in the air, and was un-damaged. It left a crack in the middle of the stadium.
"SPECIAL MOVE! MOLTEN TREMOR!" yelled Mike.
More crack started to form in the stadium and lava spurted out if them. The lava caught Killerken and sent it flying next to Keir.
"Yes!" yelled Mike.
I knew this wouldn't be the last Victory Mike would have...

Ruki was more than ready for this.
"I WILL WIN!" I heard him shout.
"The Next match will be.... Ruki Takenori versus Maebh Gallagher!" DJ shouted.
Maebh had a smirk on her face.
"3,2,1 GOOO SHOOT!" they yelled.
Striker went to the center, and disappeared. Ruki froze in awe.
"What kind of illusion is this?" Ruki questioned.
Gryph was being smacked around by an invisible force. Ruki tried dodging the various attacks, but he failed.
"Try harder!" Ruki shouted.
Maebh just stood there quietly.
Ruki slowly got madder and madder, until he broke.
"STOP!" Ruki bellowed at last.
The familiar dark aura rose, and it was bigger than before.
"Hm." grunted Maebh.
Striker appeared again, then quickly multiplied itself!
"All this trickery will drive Ruki deeper into the darkness!" I thought.
Then Ruki's temper was pushed to the edge.
"SPECIAL MOVE! HELL DEATH WING!" shouted Ruki.
"I guess it's time for me to do something! Darkness never prevails! Special Move! Heavenly Mirage!" shouted Maebh.
A large dark explosion filled the arena, then, 100s of beams of light came down, overwhelming the darkness.
Gryph had been knocked out. Ruki fell to his knees as the darkness left him.
I knew we had to stop the darkness from fully consuming him, or it will be too late...

Chapter 15
Ireland's Last Clash
It was time for the final match between Carlin and I. My body was trembling.
"Stop It! You are over-reacting!" I thought to myself.
If I lost, all the Vanquisher's hard work would have no meaning. My phone started to ring.
"Hello?"
"Yes! It is me, Keenan. You are in great danger! Next, you will face the German team! Right now, Angell is battling a bey, Dragoon Ifraid W145SWD!"
"Shadow..." I muttered.
"Take great percaution while battling this team! No! Angell!!!!!-"
"Hello? What happened!"
The line had been disconnected. I decided to focus on the present, not the future. I finally got to get a look at Carlin. He had light orange, spiky hair, with a fly away curl, green eyes, and freckles around his nose. He had on an orange striped, long sleeve shirt shirt with a coller, a green sweat shirt with a 4 leaf clover on it, orange jeans, and green converses.
"Are you ready for our battle?" questioned Carlin.
"Yes, most definetly." I replied.
"Good! The best of luck to the both of us!" Carlin exclaimed.
"3,2,1 GOOOOO-"
Time stopped in my world, and I realized what I was fighting for.
Entering Flashback
Me and Lucy were walking through the park, it was a pleasant day.
"Hey Joe! Wanna battle?" questioned Lucy, holding up a bey which I can't remember.
"Sure!" I replied, holding up Death Bull TH170CS, my old bey.
Before we could head to a stadium, two men in black and white suits, grabbed Lucy by the arm.
"She belongs to us, back in Germany." they said.
"No! Mom sent me here, to get away from you, The Dark Nova Association." Lucy whined.
While they were talking I threw a punch at one of the men's faces. He pushed into the ground, fracturing my spinal cord.
"No! Joey!" Lucy cried.
The man decided he had had enough. He grabbed one of my legs, and threw me into the dirt, blacking me out.

I woke up in a hospital bed, looked around, and didn't find Lucy.
"They got her, I will go to Germany and save you Lucy!" I yelled.
Exiting Flashback
"SHOOOT!" we yelled.
I was back, and ready.
"Go Saramanda!" I yelled.
Saggitario was shot into the wall, and rebounded, hitting me back.
"Saggitario! Cut into em'!" Shouted Carlin.
Then, Saggitario started a long series of short side-attacks, disabling Saramanda.
"Jump!" I yelled.
Saramanda jumped, landing on Saggitario. Saggitario quickly sped away.
"Hah! Now it's our turn to jump!" exclaimed Carlin.
Saggitario started landing various jumping strike from the air.
"Now! SPECIAL MOVE! FLAMING JUMPER!" Carlin yelled.
Saggitario set on fire, and jumped on Saramanda, sending him deep into the ground.
"It's all over!" exclaimed Carlin.
"No, it's not, it never is." I replied.
The hole in the ground started glowing green.
"SPECIAL MOVE! TRUE WARRIOR LEVITHAN DESTRUCTION!" I screamed.
The whole stadium was filled with a giant, armored, Levithan warrior. It smacked it's sword onto Saggitario, then gabbed Saggitario until it was in the cave where the stadium use to be. Saggitario was destroyed, and the Levithan warrior had won. I would fight, battle, and do anything to get Lucy back...

We were on our way to Germany, I was pumped. But, in this trip, I also had to save Lucy, and destroy the evil, Dark Nova Association. I wondered why this association was made. Mike looked over at me.
"Joey, are you OK?" he questioned.
"Yes, I think so." I replied.
I turned away and gazed out the window, pondering about the challenges ahead of me. A few hours later, we had landed.
"We have arrived in Germany, have a nice trip!" The loudspeaker said.
Mike woke up, as Ruki got out of his seat. We were greeted at the terminal by two men in suits, the initials;"D.N.A." Were carved into the shirts.
"Hello Vanquishers, we've been expecting you." they said.
One of the men seized my arm. I quickly punched him in the face.
"What does the Dark Nova Association want!" I yelled.
Mike and Ruki joined in on the fight. Mike charged at the man, while Ruki kicked the other in the face. We ran out of the airport before the men could catch us.
The building in front of us was a giant industrial building had "D.N.A" carved into it. I ran in and walked to the front desk.
"Where is Lucy!" I commanded.
"Talk to our leader, Veit." the man at the front desk said.
I screamed, I ran up the stairs to the room thar said; "Veit's Private Room"
I slammed open the door to see Lucy sitting on a chair on her phone. She looked up.
"Joey!" She yelled.
A chair turned around to revealed a dark character sitting in it.
"I see you've met my daughter." he snickered.

Chapter 17
The Darkness Emerges
"Veit? You are the leader of the Dark Nova Association?" I questioned.
"Yes, I am, I was Lucy's father, until her mother intervined." He replied.
Ruki stepped up, with an angry look on his face.
"Your 'Friends' almost kidnapped us!" He yelled.
Veit stood up and laughed.
"Those people are just tools in my master-plan." He said.
Veit pressed a button on his chair, and a chair opened next to him. A hooded man emerged out of the door.
"Shadow!" I yelled.
"Yes it is me, and my Dragooon Ifraid W145SWD!" He yelled.
Shadow pulled off his hood reveal a red-headed boy, with red eyes and a scar on his left jaw.
"So, this is the real you." I said.
A girl walked up besides Shadow.
"I am Kai Jaeger! I use Kurai Siren CH120CF!" She yelled.
Kai had a black jumpsuit on and high, black boots. She had black hair, and green eyes.
Then a boy dropped from the ceiling.
"I, am Urs Dietrich, I use Demonic Arachnid LW160SB." He muttered.
I ignored them and ran over to Lucy.
"Lucy! Are you okay!" I yelled.
"Uhhhhh...-"
"She is OKAY!" Veit yelled pounding his fist on the chair's arm.
He nodded to Shadow, and Shadow nodded back, smiling. Shadow ran at me, grabbing my shoulder.
"You. Are. Staying." He said.
"NO!" I yelled.
I went insane, I lost all control, and rage took over. I punched him in the gut. Mike and Ruki charged at Urs.
"Hey! Nobody wants to fight me?" Kai questioned.
They ignored her. Shadow let out a swift kick to my chest, knocking me down. Mike and Ruki grabbed Urs, throwing him into the ground. Then Shadow came over and bashed Ruki and Mike, knocking them out. Shadow came back to finish me.
"See you at the battles tommorow!" snickered Kai as Shadow kicked me in the face, then everything went black...

Chapter 18
Locked Up
I woke up in a cell of some sort. It had one bed, and a toilet. The walls were brick, no way of getting out. I pounded the wall to make sure. I heard voices down the hall.
"What are we gonna do with them?"
"Keep them captive until the first match."
Then Kai appeared at the cell doors.
"Hey Babe." She snickered.
"Be Quiet, Trickery does not have an effect on me." I replied.
She opened the door, angrily.
"Listen, we can kill you faster than you think!" she shouted.
I stood there, silently, ignoring her. Kai ran up to me, then kissed me on the cheek.
"How'd ya like that?" she said.
"Not a lot, Bye now!" I replied.
I ran behind her and ran out the cell door and closed it.
"You'll Pay!" She screamed.
I ran out the doors and all of the sudden a stadium appeared in front of me.
"Damn! Wrong door!" I yelled.
A figure dropped from the ceiling.
"Urs." I said, disgusted.
Urs had brown hair with green highlights, purple eyes, obviously not real. He had on Black pants with multiple pockets, and a black overcoat.
"Hello, get ready to die!" He screamed.

Urs smiled.
"How so, little boy." He snickered.
"Because, you are a slave of darkness, a disgrace to the human race." I replied.
Urs put his hands in his pockets and laughed.
"But, you are a slave of darkness as well, no? All those times you lost control, wrecking havoc." said Urs.
Then, I realized, I thought Kai, Urs, and Shadow were pure darkness, but I had not remember my experiences of being mercilessly being controlled by a dark force, that was blood-thirsty and ready to kill. I dropped to my knees, and took out Gryph.
"Gryph, I have failed you, and the whole Takanori family!" I yelled, as a tear rolled down my eye.
I got up, angrily.
"This is all your fault!" I yelled.
"No, it's Shadow's, after all, he was controlling you." said Urs.
I had had it, I was going to crush Urs, and the entire German Team!
"Are you ready Gryph?" I questioned.
I attached Gryph to my launcher.
"Urs, I will defeat you, for my family, for my pride, AND FOR AMERICA!" I shouted.
"Okay, but be warned me and my Demonic Arachnid LW160SB show no mercy!" exclaimed Urs.
I knew I was ready.
"3,2,1 GOOOOOOO SHOOT!" We yelled.
Arachnid started a sliding-shoot pattern, knocking into Gryph numerous times. Ruki put his hand down in a swift motion, signaling Gryph. Gryph circled around Arachnid and E230 caught on to Arachnid, throwing it into the stadium wall. Urs clenched his teeth.
"Go Arachnid! Form your web!" yelled Urs in a manical voice.
Arachnid started a insanely fast barrage attack, that left a trail of darkness that seemed to form a web pattern.
"Hahahahahahaha!" laughed Urs.
Gryph was taking critical damage, and soon, he would be destroyed.
"No Gryph! Soar!" I yelled.
Gryph flew into the air, avoiding Arachnid's attacks. Then he came down, crashing into Arachnid, making a crack in it's face-bolt. It was my turn to dominate.
"NO! SPECIAL MOVE! ARMAGEDDON WEB CORRUPTION!" yelled Urs.
The whole stadium started to fill with a darkness. Then, it started to fill me. I tried to fight it, but it was no use. My faith was sealed, I would die, a empty soul. Gryph was about to stop spinning, until it happened. A red arua surrounded Gryph and I.
"NEVER GIVE UP!" I yelled.
Gryph regained it's spin and immediately started striking.
"YOU WILL NEVER HAVE TRUE SPIRIT! NEVER!" I yelled.
The aura turned into a blazing inferno of spirit and energy.
"NOW GRYPH! SHOW THEM YOUR WORTH! SPECIAL MOVE! RAGING WING TORNADO ULTIMATE DESTROYER!" I screamed.
A giant Griffon erupted out of Gryph. The Griffon erupted into millions of blazing red tornados. Arachnid was destroyed, broken into millions of pieces. Veit walked into the room.
"Well then, now the score is 1-0, America" He said disgusted.
I fell to my knees exhausted, very happy, as Urs threw a tantrum like a child...

Chapter 20
The Sacrifice
It was time for my battle, but I had time to upgrade.
"Golem, you ready for a upgrade?" I questioned.
I went and got a Begirados chrome wheel, and made a synchrome. I replaced DF145 with W145, and CF with MF. Then I went ahead and smacked a MSF on it.
"C'mon world come at me and my Goriem Begirados W145MF!" I yelled, with a smile on my face.
I was ready, even if I had my sacrifice myself in battle, I was ready. Ruki and Joey appeared in the doorway.
"You ready Mike?" They said in sync.
"Yes, I think so." I replied.
I walked up to the stadium, and looked into the cold, heartless eyes of Kai Jaeger.
"Kai, you're going down!" I yelled.
She just laughed, and readied her Kurai Siren CH120CF. I took a deep breath.
"3, 2, 1 GOOOOO SHOOT!" We yelled.
Siren took a turn and raced around the stadium. Goriem quickly followed Siren.
"Catch up Goriem!" I yelled hitting Siren from behind.
"Siren Make a cut in his soul!" yelled Kai.
Siren made a vertical strike into Golem. Then, both beys clashed head-on causing a giant gust of wind.
"Ah! This match is intense!" Joey said.
Siren and Golem kept on clashing.
"Siren! Dark Push Technique!" yelled Kai.
"Aha! The Dark Push Technique is Kai's specialty, you are done for!" yelled Veit.
Goriem was pushed to the very edge of the stadium.
"Turn it around Goriem!" I yelled.
Goriem took a sharp turn, now Siren was the one on the edge.
"Ha! I'll destroy you even sooner now! Dark Push Again!" said Kai.
Siren pushed Goriem into the stadium wall, slowly draining Goriem's spin.
"STOP IT!" I yelled.
Goriem launched Siren into the air. Siren went into the center of the stadium. I was very angered, and so was Kai.
"DIIIEEEEE!" yelled Kai
Siren bashed into Goriem with extreme force, putting a dent in the Goriem wheel.
"SPECIAL MOVE! DARK RAGING MURDER!" yelled Kai
"AHHHHHHHHHHH!" I yelled.
My green aura was turning a bright red, that blazed with so much power and spirit!
"AHHHHHH! ANCIENT HARUMAGEDON STRIKER!" I yelled.
Siren did not bash into Goriem, but me. Siren hit me in the stomach, as Goriem bashed Siren away. Goriem bashed Siren into pieces, and Kai was bashed into the wall, leaving a bloody mark on her black jump-suit.
My stomach was bleeding very badly, I could see the light.
The last thing I saw before everything went black was Ruki and Joey running towards me, tears in their eyes.
I muttered in my last breath;
"Show the rest of the world your power friends, I believe in you, I w-will a-lways b-b-be with yo-"
Every thing black instantly, as I wondered "Heaven or hell, where will I go?"

Dragoon's beast towered over Reviser. The beast struck Reviser into the ground. Shadow was grinning ear to ear. I felt the power consume me. A blue aura surrounded me and Reviser's spirit consumed me. A Levithan warrior erupted out of Reviser. It wielded rwo axes. "Special Move! Levithan Stealth Smash!" I yelled! The two beasts clashed with tremendous force. I was knocked back by the power. Shadow saw his opportunity and his darkness consumed me. "Noooooooooo!' I shouted.

I woke up in a hospital bed with Mike and DJ looking at me. "Are you okay?" they both said in sync. "Yes, I am will have my vengence on Shadow!" I said. "I have my next match coming up, I'm facing dude named Adrain Berdych, now get some rest bro." he calmly stated. I fell asleep, pondering about my previous match. I felt that it wouldn't be the last time I would see Shadow and his Dragoon Ifraid...

Chapter 3
Teamwork
I quickly recovered after my battle with Shadow. He seemed corrupted and no longer in control, like a puppet. Mike was so excited for his next battle. I heard DJ's voice fill the air; "The next match will be a tag team battle, pick your partners Adrian and Mike!" The person named Adrian stepped up to the stadium. He had a white shirt,blue jeans, bushy brown hair, and a very expensive looking watch. "I pick... Ruki Takanori!" Adrian said with a little side-note of, "We're so gonna win." Ruki had white spiky hair with black streaks, blue eyes, a long white sleeve shirt with a collar,a black sleeveless jacket, black skinny jeans, black tennis shoes, and a piercing on his left ear. " I am the 3rd best blader is Japan, I will beat you with my Gryph Gargole E230CS." said Ruki in a nice, yet dark voice. "Well, I will be at his side, with my Oroyja Killerken AD145SB!" yelled Adrian in a cocky voice. Mike started to grin. "I choose Joey Ryutan and his Reviser Saramanda 90RDF!" Exclaimed Mike. We readied our beys, and my pulse was getting faster. " 3,2,1 GO SHOOT!" We yelled. Oroyja circled toward the center and went into a defensive position. Adrian's Beserker Golem DF145CF zoomed around the stadium and knocked into Oroyja. My Reviser smacked into Gryph, and both beys were cornered. Adrian got agitated and shouted, "You will not defy me! Special Move! Attack of the Kraken!" Mike rose to the occasion. "Special Move! Rage Quake!" yelled Mike. A Kraken erupted out of Oroyja and a armored Golem erupted out of Beserker. Beserker smashed the ground while Oroyja dashed towards. A explosion filled the arena... Oroyja had been knocked out! I decided to finish it off. "Go! Reviser! Leviathan Axe Smash!" I yelled. I rushed towards Gryph. Ruki smirked. Gryph dodged the attack with incredible accuracy. I was flabbergasted. Gryph smashed into Reviser. I tried my special move again, it failed. "Special Move! Upper Wind Burst!" yelled Ruki. Graph was surrounded by air and charged at Reviser and knocked him in the air. I unleashed my inner spirit. A green aura surrounded me. "Special Move! Raging Serpent Outburst!" I yelled. A swarm of serpents bashed into Gryph, instantly knocking him out of the stadium. Me and Mike were the victors. I knew there would be many more victories to come...

A New Friend, and a New Opponent!
I met up with Ruki at the park after the match. He actually seemed like a nice guy! "My Homeland is Japan, I am new here in the U.S.A." said Ruki. "Oh Cool! So, if you are the 3rd best in Japan, who is the first?" I questioned. "His name is Tyo Arin, the wielder of Diablo Dreadlock SA165MF, he is most feared." Replied Ruki. I have heard of Tyo from the news, he had been in so many tournaments and placed every time. I looked over my shoulder to see a poster. It read ; "Worldwide Team Tournament! Make a team of 3 and climb your way to Victory!" I jumped in the air. "Ruki, would you like to join a team! It will be called.... The Vanquishers!" I exclaimed. "Sure." replied Ruki. I was so happy! Mike, Ruki, and I would show the world our power! In the middle of my inspirational thought a figure appeared. "I am Zeo Crown and my Phoenic Gryph SA165BMF challenge you!" he said. I knew he would be a formidable opponent...

Ruki's Spirit
As soon as the person named Zeo challenged us, Ruki pushed everyone out of the way. "I will battle you with my Gryph Gargole E230CS!" Ruki exclaimed proudly. A grin slowly appeared on Zeo's face. "Okay then!" Zeo replied. I could tell Zeo was hiding something, and Ruki was going to find it out. Zeo had blue jeans with yellow stripes going down each leg, black sneakers, a white and black short sleeve shirt with a blue shirt. They readied their beys, and I could feel Ruki's determination. " 3,2,1 GO SHOOT!" they shouted. Ruki's Gryph smashed into Pheonic and blew it back. Then Zeo used his hidden trick. Phoenic soared up on the air and stayed there! "Aha! You cannot hit what you cannot reach!" exclaimed Zeo. Ruki gritted his teeth. "I am not weak, I am not going to be defeated, I CAN DO ANYTHING!" yelled Ruki. He was surrounded in a red aura. Gryph used the edge of the stadium to soar into the air. "Now Gryph! SPECIAL MOVE! CLAWING ASSAULT!" yelled Ruki, his heart burning for victory. In a rapid succession, Gryph barrage attacked Pheonic so fast it stole his spin, and when Phoenic stopped, Gryph bashed him besides Zeo. "How? What? I will be back to defeat you, Ruki!" yelled Zeo in response to his loss. A grin spread across Ruki's face. I knew Ruki should not be one to judge on power...

Today was the day. Ruki, Mike, and I would go around the world fighting teams. I was so pumped! All of the teams from the U.S. gathered around Blader DJ, waiting for a response. "Hello! You all will be the teams that go around the world fighting different teams, I will individually assign you teams." said DJ. DJ signalled us to come over. "Who is the team captain?" questioned DJ. "I am!" I exclaimed. "Okay, you will face The Imperials of France first." he said "Thier team captain is Freud Emprute, Good Luck!" DJ handed us passports and was off. "Cool, a trip to France!" exclaimed Mike. "Yeah, it is! Brofist!" Ruki said as him and Mike pounded fists. "Let's go to the airport guys, our flight is at.... 12:00! It's 11:40! Go!" I yelled. We hopped a taxi and we were off. We reached our flight just in time. As I got on the plane and got my seat I pondered about how I could go all over the world, and after a while I fell asleep. I woke up and looked out my window to see the Eiffel Tower. "We are here!" I shouted, as all the other people gave me a strange look for shouting. I got off the plane and a group of 3 people. "Hello! We are the French team, The Imperials. I am the Captain, Freud Emprute." said Freud. "I am Lindsay LéWrath, I use Archer Golem BD145RB." stated Lindsay. "I am Aimé Bourg and I use Flash Orion S130RF." said Aimé. we walked over to the stadium in the Bois de Boulogne. "The first match will be Mike Arutan vs Aimé Bourg." shouted the loudspeaker in a French accent. I knew this would be a tough battle....

Chapter 7
I walked up to the stadium, my heart pounding.
"You can do this Golem!" I thought to myself.
Aime had a grin on his face.
"3,2,1 GO SHOOT!" We yelled.
"GO! GOLEM!" I shouted.
Golem smacked into Orion, as Orion clashed back.
"Orion! Uppercut Em'!" He yelled.
Orion made Golem fly into the air, flipping in place.
"Go down Golem!" I screamed.
Golem went down, grinding Orion against the stadium floor.
"Orion! Barrage!" Aime commanded.
I gritted my teeth, I knew this was his specialty. Orion repeatedly attacked Golem. Aime saw his opportunity.
"Special Move! Nova Starlight!" Aime yelled.
Orion's barrage attack got faster, and faster, until Orion's beast came out, and blasted Golem next to me.
"I let you down Golem." I thought to myself.
"Good try, but my power is superior!" said Aime in a bragging voice.
"It's okay broski, you will get better if you train!" Joey said, calming me.
"Thanks Joe, I needed that." I replied.
Freud came out, then held up his bey, smiling and laughing.
"You are weak! You will not stand a chance against my Dark Knight Pheonic S130LRF!" insulted Freud, surrounded in a dark aura.
Freud attached his bey to his launcher, still smiling.
"GO SHOOT!" he yelled.
Pheonic circled in the stadium, creating a dark vortex that consumed everything. I held on to a bench to avoid being swept away.
"STOP!" Joey shouted.
He launched his Reviser at Pheonic. A bright light consumed the darkness, as I saw Phoenic and Reviser soar out of the stadium.
"Save it for the battle Freud!" Joey yelled at Freud.
I knew Joey would always have a pure spirit, that would aid him on his journey to victory...

I was boiling mad at Freud. His bey was over-powerful, and he almost caused the demise of the park.
"The next match will be between Ruki and Lindsay!" shouted the French DJ.
Ruki had a determined grin on his face, that was just itching for victory.
"Be Careful! I can be very destructive!" said Lindsay.
"I do not care, I will win for my team!" shouted Ruki.
I knew Ruki would not be stopped in this battle.
"3,2,1 GOOOOO SHOOT!" Lindsay and Ruki yelled.
"Golem! Go to the center!" commanded Lindsay.
Golem raced towards the center of the stadium, and stayed there.
"Is that your technique? Hah!" said Ruki.
Lindsay smiled as Gryph raced towards Golem in a zig-zag pattern. As soon as Gryoh made contact, with Golem, he was shot back into the stadium wall.
"Gryph! Recover!" Ruki desperately yelled.
Gryph got up, and shot Golem back.
"GOOOOOOOOOO!" they both shouted.
Gryph and Golem clashed in a intense hold, causing sparks to fly everywhere.
"Special Move! Ground Snipe!" yelled Lindsay.
Golem dug under ground, disappearing from Ruki's sight. Everything was silent until.. Golem came up from the ground, launching Gryph high into the air.
"You are done for!" bragged Lindsay.
Ruki started to smile.
"There is always a way to win, Lindsay." remarked Ruki.
"Special Move! Wind Reverse Downstrike!" yelled Ruki.
A tornado appeared in the sky, then grew larger and larger. Then, it came down, consuming the whole stadium. Golem was swept out of the stadium and landed in a tree behind Lindsay.
"No! Golem!" cried Lindsay.
Ruki smiled and stepped back to his seat. Ruki had done well today, but next, it was my turn, and Freud stood in my way, and was determined to stop him...
