I think I shall pick up wipeout pulse for $10 since I also enjoyed the first Wipeout game for the PSP.

Nice man, I highly recommend Pulse, probably the most played of my PSP games. space invaders is great too.

Actually, been playing Wipeout HD/FURY again. Its hxc but rewarding. Other ps3 owners here oughta buy it! honestly drop dead gorgeous 1080p. i should get some of my screens...
killzone 2 rocks in Hi-Def.
200th post hehe
- Shenmue

This game is really impressive, considering the year that it came out. I haven't gotten too far into it, but it's easy to tell this game takes a lot of patience on the side of the player. It's rather slow so far, but hopefully it will pick up the pace soon; I'm willing to give it a chance. There is just something about this game that really makes me feel like continuing onwards.

One thing I should note is how CREEPY some of the NPC's, and their voice overs are. Maybe I should be saying "funny", but some of them truly are creepy.
- Halo 1 (Xbox)
- Halo 3 (Xbox 360)
- Resident Evil (Xbox 360)
- Banjo Kazooie (N64) [I was bored and i just turned on my N64 thats in my bros room. LOL]
- Pokemon Stadium 1 (N64) [same thing with Banjo Kazooie]
- Bomberman 64 (N64) [same with Banjo Kazooie and Pokemon Stadium. Pinching_eyes_2]

EDIT: Oh I forgot Call Of Duty. Chocked_2 i forgot what the last bit was.
But yesterday was kinda like a Games Day. Joyful_2 it was so much fun. Cos i completely pwned everyone every so often BD lol

That game has the scariest children I've ever seen in a game.

- Dissidia: Final Fantasy. Finished Squall's story, starting Cloud's.
Shadow Complex- Beat my first playthrough with 100% completion, going to go for the under 13% runthrough soon.

Tales of Monkey Island: Chapter 2: The Siege of Spinner Cay - Beat this, I really liked it. Winslow is a damn good character, and I like Morgan LeFlay. Some really good dialogue. The wait for Chapter 3 will suck. (of course)

Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor - Beat Gin's path. Got a few more to do before I'm fully done (Each path adds a character to the title screen) I think I'm going to pick Naoya or Atsuro's path next, I hear they're both good.

Bioshock - Plaything through this again, At Hephaestus right now, after dealing with Sander Cohen.
Super Robot Taisen: W (NDS)
Super Robot Taisen: K (NDS)
Digimon World: Dusk (NDS)
Sakigake!! Cromartie KouKou(Highschool) (PS2)
Wrestle Kingdom (PS2)
Panic Maker(USA/CA/EU's Under the Skin) (PS2)

That game cost like $23 million to make, it was crazy expensive, comparatively, today big budget games cost around $30 million. Crazy expensive bomb (ok, it wasn't a total bomb) too, it not selling up to SEGA's expectations probably played a role into the DreamCast's early death.
Shadow Complex

I love Metroidvania games.
The World Ends With You for the DS. It's pretty much amazing.

$23 million? Yu Suzuki said it costed SEGA $70 million. Speechless

- Shenmue
Beat the first disc of Shenmue last night. Went to put in the second one and it won't read it! The "SEGA" screen comes up, then it reverts back to the main hub. The disc is in great condition. All of the other discs work perfectly, so I'm really baffled as to why the second one specifically does not work. Has anybody else experienced something like this with their Dreamcast before? I've never experienced problems any of my other Dreamcast games. Confused

- Batman: Arkham Asylum Demo
I admittedly knew nothing about this game before I checked out the demo, but after playing through it I'll definitely be picking it up! It just feels really good to play; Rocksteady really nailed it with this game.
Eh, that just makes SEGA look even more crazy for giving Shenmue a budget that huge. As for you disc read error, no real clue, since I never owned a DC.

As for Arkham Asylum, starting tommorrow, Wal*Mart, Eb Games, FutureShop/Best Buy should be selling it for $39 for the next three days.

It also confirms that Shenmue 3 will NEVER be made. Imagine how much it would cost today to make it on Xbox 360 or PS3! I may just burn a copy of the second disc, hopefully that will work.

Yeah, heard about that. Gonna try to get down to one of those stores soon.

I might be wrong, but I believe burned copies of Dreamcast games will not run unless you have a boot disk that's used for imports/backups/etc.
Batman Arkham Asylum -
Just finished up on Normal with 100% completion.
Man it was good, final boss could have been better, but the stuff before it was good enough to forgive a sub-par final battle, Atleast it had a "HELL YEAH!!!" feeling finisher.

And woo!
, I'm hopeful for a sequel!!

You beat it already? Gasp

I'm playing on Normal as well, with about 58% completion.
Street Fighter IV (360)
Left 4 Dead (360)
Bonk's Adventure (Turbografx16)
Zombies Ate My Neighbors (Genisis)
Super Mario (SNES)
Crisis Core (PSP) Best PSP game ever.
Digimon World 3; I love the card battles.
Final Fantasy Tactics Advance GBA, im adicted to it.
Dead Space

Finished it a couple of weeks ago. Awesome game, even if it was short. Again, amazing atmosphere and setting. I can't really compare it to other survival horror games since this was actually my first experience with the genre, but it did leave quite the impression on me. Back when I started playing, I had trouble doing so for too long, but then I got used to it. It was really creepy, although I think it's no so scary, but rather really tense at times. It did get more action oriented than scary towards the end though.

I'm currently on my 2nd run through it, playing on the cleared game save (which lets you keep all of your stuff from the last game, along with giving you some freebies, but only allows the same difficulty). I'm midway into Chapter 10, already have everything upgraded, it's been easier now for the most part since I still remember most of the necromorph spawns and quarantine enconters. The badass Military Suit also helps, but I still prefer Isacc's original suit better for looks. Also doing my One Gun run (Plasma Cutter only) for this 2nd playthrough. That's made some parts tougher, but nothing really hard. I actually did better in that big quarantine room on Chapter 9 than on my previous run.

I'd like to 1000/1000 this, but I don't know if I'll feel like doing an Impossible run right after this one. How hard is it btw? Has anyone here tried Impossible mode? I hear you take tons of damage from everything, besides all the pick-ups and ammo drops being scarcer. Seems like you can end up stuck if you don't plan things carefully, but that's one of the reasons I already had multiple saves anyway...

man..you gotta get 1000/1000. I've always been amazed by your gamerscore, pushed me for shooting for 100% completion in GTA IV cause I saw you managed to do it.
Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of time (N64) - A classic that never grows old on me Smile
Prince of Persia: Warrior within (PS2) - Damn hard, but great graphics for a PS2 game!
Professor Layton & the Diabolical Box -
Finished up the main story with all 138 puzzles solved, all 26 tea breaks done, all pictures taken and completed and full hamster workout done.

Still about 400 Picarats away from unlocking the Movies section, but I'm sure the Layton Challenges will give me that pretty easily.
I was really impressed with the amount of voice work in this one, in Curious Village, it was mostly the first scene + any cinematics. In Diabolical Box, its in all the excellent cinematics but along with many scenes during the storyline.

I can't wait until they get around to the Last Time Travel.

Well, guess what? I'm currently on my 3rd playtrough, the Impossible run, just started the 6th chapter =)
It hasn't been that hard, just need to be more careful not to get hit since they do cause a lot of damage with a single hit. Helps that I started straight away with the level 5 suit too. Back when I finished my 1st play through on Medium, I immediately started a save on Impossible, just to have it there since I heard that the Impossible mode option might disappear if you just turned it off. When I did, it started me off with the level 5 suit for some reason. I think it's a known glitch, people would use to try and start with the level 6 Military suit, although I couldn't get it working for that one. Still, it's a big help having 20% armor from the beginning along with the full 25 inventory slots, besides not having to waste money with all of the suit upgrades.
Also, decided to try out the 5-node cheat at last. If you're wondering, this is a one time use per run cheat (doesn't disable achievements) that you get clues for during the game. They're spread through most chapters as unitology writing on the walls, along with some arrows, one of which flashes green when you aim at it. There's also a chapter that has many unitology symbols translated into letters and numbers, along with a few more you get after finishing chapter 12. One of the unitology writings in a certain chapter, would clue you in visiting a site, which would tell you about the cheat or something like that.
I'm just using the Steampunk Force Gun and the Plasma Cutter now. The Line Gun is awesome, but it'd just slow the upgrading process of everything else if I had another gun to worry with, not to mention the ammo. The Force Gun again is godly. With minor upgrading, it still does almost everything in 1 or 2 shots.

100% completion in GTA IV isn't hard, just really time consuming. Once I finished the game, I still only had found around 1/4 of the pigeons by myself. After that, I used an online guide along with the one present in one of the mails you get in-game.
I don't have most of the multiplayer achievements though, I never really got into it.
