resistance + uncharted: nothing amazing so far

Resistance pisses me off. Decent shooter with ridiculous concept. Hey guise, let's put aliens in ww2 lololo. Doesn't float my boat at all.

Never played uncharted.
tryed the demos for Pixel junk eden and SIREN: Bloodcurse
Pixel Junk eden is cool, actually very cool, but like im not going to buy it cause i don't love controls.
SIREN is pretty good, got my heart thumping. But the camera controls are holding it back, should have been like mgs4. Controls could be more intuitive.
PixelJunk Eden is carp sweet. I just played the demo and I am definitely buying that.

I also played some Resistance online with Artie a little bit ago. Gotta say, it was better than I expected it to be. I'm pretty surprised by the robust online component. I expected it to be more like every other online PS3 game and well... Suck. (Sup MGO)
i wasn't impressed by uncharted either tbh, only played the demo
Halo 3 on Legendary.

I'm seriously going to try to go through Legendary all by myself lmao.
Uncharted: Drake's Fortune

And all the way from my closet:
Ico

And yeah, I like Uncharted, can't stand shooter since they all seem to be from the same cookie cutter base to me.

It fits over the PS3 perfectly, so that is probably what its for.

This is Legendary: Walk for 10 seconds, shoot a bullet, maybe kill an enemy, die. Walk for 10 seconds, shoot a bullet, maybe kill an enemy, die. Repeat.

Okay, maybe not that hard, but still annoying haha

I was exaggerating lol, though it still is pretty darn difficult.
It's tough alone, but most levels are still manageable. Cortana on the other hand...
I once tried going through Cortana on Legendary alone and I ended up getting stuck mid way with no ammo. That's usually the biggest problem in Legendary, running out of ammo. Damn sniper flood forms take soo long to kill with a Carbine.. It's also real tough right at the start of the level, when you first have to take on a load of Flood at the same time. I just ran away from them on that Legendary run.
When there are flood sniper forms close to you, it's ok, you can just sword/shotgun/melee/stick them, but in those parts where you have a bunch of them far away from you and you run out of Carbine ammo, you're pretty much carp. Once you get out of hiding, you'll be dead in no time.

It's cool if you have more people to play with though. We should have a Legendary run through Halo 3 Campaign sometime =)

Super Smash Bros. Brawl

Been going through SSE, done all events up to 20, played around in Home-run contest, Target Test, created some custom stages, etc. Last unlocked Ganondorf and Lucario.
i suck at this game btw, more than I did in melee
I'm on Rampant right now.

I got my duel Plasma Rifle, and I'm just gonna run on in then back out.

Yeah.

What difficulty are you doing the events on? I completed them all on hard, and my god, event 41 is the most frustrating thing in that entire game. From what I have played at least.

I've been doing them from Easy to Hard (I do easy, then normal, then hard), but I haven't done all in Hard yet. I still have to unlock Events from 21 and on too.
I played through Classic mode on Hard with Link to unlock Ganondorf the other day and I already had big, big trouble with that (also had to use a Continue).
we should have a beywiki halo run through campaign lol

today i made it half way into cortana and then my friends started being dicks and we got really mad at each other
it ended with the host pulling his internet cable LOL
i guess we'll continue this tomorrow once he's over it.
ryan and i tried to do it on legendary...we couldn't do it

i dunno, i didnt think halo 3's campaign was anything special, tbh
Artie Wrote:i dunno, i didnt think halo 3's campaign was anything special, tbh

i don't like it

i just like killing things
i enjoyed it alot my second run through but i'm a pretty big halo fan.
we could always get a multiplayer party going instead, maybe on big team social or something
ryan and i play a lot of multi-team battle, but yeah that'll work too

I loved it! I was realy into the halo 2 campaign and was painfully waiting to see what happenes though.
I just finished a near 3 hour spree of Geometry Wars 2.

Needless to say, if you own a 360 you have no reason not to buy this game.

carp it is AMAZING.

same

5 million on Pacifism carp
carp Pacifism, that mode sucks.

So does King.

Also, we are so totally gushing about this on GRT this week carp.

Our WWBP segment is going to be sweet. (FFIV, Geo Wars 2, Resistance, PJ Eden, hmm gurl)

I'd be up for that. I haven't been on much lately because of playing SSBB, but we could schedule something. We could do DLC Objective as well (Slayer would be too small if we get more than 4 guys, besides I hate Blackout lol).
I wouldn't mind doing some Rocket Race games either. It's fun, but usually sucks if you go into it alone. I end up getting guys who don't know what to do and just go running around trying to kill other players or simply drop from the game. I had one on Sandtrap once, which we were winning, then my teammate leaves the game, I get made VIP, so I can't drive the Mongoose and I am forced to run all around one of Halo 3's biggest maps to reach the checkpoints (still won, just barely though). Other times you get teams who are in it just to carp other players. I got assassinated 3 times by the same guy once in one game and they even had killing sprees and surpassed 10 kills on a game you're not supposed to be killing anyone.

I liked Halo 3's Campaign a lot. There's not much to the story, especially since I never tried the previous two games, but just playing through it felt great. The level designs and environment around you, all the encounters with the Grunts, Brutes, Jackals, etc, all the weapons and vehicles you can choose to use, the epic Scarab battles. I also like how the AI gets smarter in higher difficulty settings and skulls on, like how Brutes will send the Grunts after you, they'll board a vehicle any chance they get, etc. It's always fun to play through for me.

SSBB

Did some more SSE and also doing Classic with different characters.
I played me some SC2 last night.

Trying to gear up for when one of my friends gets 4.
