Activision has announced a sequel to 2011's Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure, it's called Skylanders: Giants and it's scheduled to be released this fall. Every Skylander from Spyro's Adventure will be compatible with Giants. There will be eight new Skylanders and a new set of characters called the Giants who are larger figures that light up when they're placed on the Portal of Power. There will be all new arenas and more gameplay options in Battle Mode, as well as enhanced Elemental Zones, and new Hero Challenges.

Please only discuss Giants in this thread, if you want to talk about Spyro's Adventure, please go to its own thread.

It's more like "Activision must know their first game had people barfing money all over them so they're out to make bigger toys that cost more for a bit more content."

I support capitalism and all its endeavors. +1

The toys wouldn't cost anymore because they are only making Tree Rex a giant figure. And Tree-Rex is going to come in the Skylander Giants starter pack.

im gonna get that game for sure!
So the new giant toys are gonna be even HARDER to find than the normal ones?
Can't wait until tomorrow! Me and Grimlock will be hitting all the stores in town very early.
I want this for Christmas.
Omg. Sixtynine-ninty nine euro in gamestop and Fifty six euro on amazon.Wow. Wow.
Im getting on 3ds.

What on earth are you on about?
Skylander giants are around (Insert pound sign here, using american computer (It doesn't have the pound sign button!?)12.99 -__-
And there are about 8(?), and only one of them (Tree-rex) Comes in a set that I know of.
The one thing I can't remember, is what legendary skylanders are? ?
And there are multiple.

I'm probably going to get this soon. Loving some of the new skylanders, I already picked out which ones I want, haha. Surprisingly, these are easy to find in my local stores unlike the original skylanders. Also loving the new designs for the series 2 versions of the original skylanders.

Hehe, sorry. That was before they showed anything for the new Giants.
A molten Hot Dog sounds appetizing.
