Semi-Important (Click to View)
well as i am very lazy and don't feel like writing the bases behind this, i will just show you guys some PMs that i made regarding this
lord Wolfblade Wrote:so i just got my ultimate DX set today and there is one thing that i found about wing!
after looking at Wing for a while, i had this idea, Wing's "wings" (lol lame unintentional pun) are a bit slanted and look like they could get under a beyblade and destabilize it. also, the wings are a bit bumpy, reminding me of my killer destabilizer (yay, another unintentional play on words).
so i decided to try this out a couple times. the combos wing (zero mode) pegasis 90/85SF/FS (i tried all of these) vs Scythe Kronos BD145EDS
the result: though Wing didn't win, it lost only to half a second, and successfully destabilized Kronos every time
and things are still looking up because i haven't tried Wings to other modes and i have some more tips to try
lord Wolfblade Wrote:luckily, the "spikes" that BD145 have, aid in the destabilization. and from what i can tell, with SF, it can hit (what was most likely the spikes) hard enough to almost KO scythe (in the process making scythe loose some balance and some spin). FS has far more stamina then SF, but sometimes can't hit enough
lord Wolfblade Wrote:tried wing pegasis 85SF some more, and i think i have a winner
it is destabilizing effectively and can KO!
what it does is it aggressively hits BD145 (scythe is really getting pushed around here), making scythe go on an angle, then, it hits the Scythe wheel itself (because it is angled enough to get hit) and KOs it (and if it doesn't KO, Scythe still doesn't have enough stamina anymore to win)
F oddly doesn't have enough power to hit as aggressively as SF?
WF, though hard to control (and because on 85, scrapes), but it can destabilize
JB is close to SF, but doesn't have as much power

Attack type Stadium (black). beylauncher L/R. banking for wing
Wing (Ironclad Attack) Pegasis III 85SF VS Scythe (stamina) Kronos BD145EDS
Wing: 7 (5-outspin, 2-KO)
Scythe: 13 (12-outspin, 1-flukeKO)
now, i know that the results aren't that good, but Scythe's wins are only from a couple more seconds of spin then Wing (most of the time it looks like wing should win, but by being on such a low track, it is hard to not scrape). also, i still need to get the launch right for wing, to win it seems you need to do really heavy banking.
i was also seeing allot of Scythe's wins was when it was about to run out of spin and it was wobbling, that it would hit Wing (from its wobbling) down into the stadium so that wing would scrape and loose (in what should have been wing's win
F results
Wing Pegasis 85F VS Scythe Kronos BD145EDS
Wing: 1 (KO)
Scythe: 19 (OS)
With F i saw allot of destabilization, but in the end F ran out of stamina way to quickly (it got close to winning allot though)

coming soon:
Wing Pegasis 85FS//WF results.
i still have some more destablizing tests that i will do soon with LDrago Guardian (Click to View)
lord Wolfblade Wrote:remembering Kei's destabilizer, i thought of trying out Ldrago guardian.
with SF it is super aggressive, and i mean super. it was doing the same thing as wing, but with more aggression and some equalizing (but less destabilizing). it got close, but EDS gives scythe a little life after death like thing.
with FS, it was just equalizing with a bit destabilizing, same result as SF, but not as fun to watch
i do not have any rubber defence bottoms, phantom, and basalt.
