So nobody is meeting at expo? I managed to get time out of work and ordered my tickets with the impression that we were at least still going to meet at expo regardless of whether the event went ahead or not. Will there be people at expo with blades at all? Im going to be taking my bits and a stadium anyway.

I will still be going to the expo and I can bring my old beyblades but I won't be getting my L Drago now. I know Rocky is still going as well.

Edit: This park thing has got to be the best place to do the tourny and that though so I will gladly go with that.

I was going to ask about that. Although we can rearrange a proper meet, it'd be nice to battle at least a little on BeyDay. I'll be there, but I don't think I'll have a stadium. If you can bring one that'd be great. We need to find who else will be attending regardless. I don't think it'll be enough that the Expo will get mad at us so hopefully we can still have some fun.

Well I have the days off work now as well, so I could go up there. If some people still want to meet up for some battles then sure I'll be up for it.

It actually looks like this is working out quite well. We can have something smaller on BeyDay and a proper meet in the Summer. Let's make a little list for BeyDay though:

Rocking. I have got to see if I can get hold of my Jobseekers money though so that I can buy it but I am sure I will be able to.

I'll probs still drag my sister along too, cause I know nothing about the Expo and don't want to be a loner once we all finish battling and things lol. I'll bring some of the stuff I was going to lend/sell aswell .

Espio, you said tickets. Does that mean you're coming on both days or was that referring to Expo and travel tickets? I think dieddead is still coming on Sunday so there may be a few of us around then as well.

Still, we don't actually need entrance tickets to blade as I don't think we'd be blading in the main hall anyways. Way too crowded. So unless you're planning on going in as well, you might be better of trying to sell the tickets? :X

As said, I managed to sort my shifts at work late last week, Sunday (yesterday).

I will be bringing all my MFB and a stadium or two of your choice. So any suggestions.

We would be able to have some battles somewhere inside if it is bad weather or outside where all the cosplayers are if it's nice =D. Will be a good atmosphere if everybodies game?

Will send my number on the thursday for everybody to have. I will be in expo earlly hopefully because I ordered fast track. Will be nice meeting you all. I will also post a picture of what I look like NOW for recognition purposes haha. Look forward tio meeting people IF they turn up. I will be with a few other friends from some old large Beysites hopefully so yeah.

Zander, if you are going to meet up then I could purchase the L Drago and you can get it from me on the day. I will show you the invoice for proof of payment that you would owe me (blade price and P&P). Would need to arrange what P&P you want? I won't be able to order anything until the week prior to the expo, so I would use Parcel Force.

I would go into expo at some point, try and hand out some flyers for WBO haha. At least get the word out there =D. Ask Tokyo Toys to have some at their stall, they shouldn't mind.

You're going to the Expo? For you it would most likely just be a train and tube journey up then back again. I didn't think that you'd want to go just for a few battles.....though I guess you might like the anime stuff as well..............or are you getting confused with the Summer Meet? They're seperate things you know. :X

I was/am getting it off of Blitz so that might not be nessecary but I will let you know otherwise.

Just to clarify for everyone:
This topic is primarily for a UK meet being held in the Summer, in a park somewhere. Dates and location are undecided yet.
However, there will still be a few of us going to the Expo so we'll have a separate meet up there. This is more for if you're already going, so don't feel you have to travel hours if you weren't planning on it (though we totally wouldn't object to having you around ).
Please don't get the two meets confused? ^^;

I assume we are currently talking about the expo? This is what I stated in my original post.

I do a weekend visit at the Expo. Staying in a hotel over night with some friends. I wouldn't be able to make the summer meet because I'm going to be busy up until I go to the states at the end of July.

I will try and get a new picture done of myself without the camera in the way and I will have the clothes on that I will wear on the day.

The date for the Summer Meet hasn't been decided.....it might be after you come back. Unless you're planning on going to the States for the forseeable future.

Seriously, it's nice that your actual posts are readable but when you're shouting them it's a little hard on my eyes.

We will keep Victoria Park in mind. It is an idea to have a back-up plan incase of rain though.....we should probably look for a park that offers some sort of shelter. :X

I'm guessing you said this because you live near there?

And were thinking about the centre of London because it makes it a fair distance for londoners to all travel to the middle - or maybe thats just my opinion =\. (But except for NeekAlert and the others who aren't in london/the london area)
