There is Something that has been bothering me since I joined the WBO. Every time someone suggests a combo, like in the "build me a combo thread" for instance, they never suggest Bearing Drive for stamina combos. They always suggest something like AD145WD, or W145WD. Bearing drive can obviously out-spin either of those settups, but people only seem to use B:D in zero G customizations.
Most people say that B:D is too easily KOed in a BB10 stadium, Therefore, W145/AD145 WD/D/BWD... etc. should be used instead. The problem is, when building a stamina type, you should not be worrying about having outstanding defense! Stamina types are not to be used against attack-oriented combos. Stamina types are, typically, easily KOed anyways!
Now, people suggest using D all the time! D has outstanding stamina, especially when used with phantom, but it has
extremely low defense, certainly less than B:D. Therefore, if stamina types being KOed by attack types is such a big problem, shouldn't D be regarded as useless for stamina?
Furthermore, B:D, according to my experience, doesn't even have "low" defense at all, at least compared to WD.
I am not saying that it comes anywhere near CS or RDF, but it certainly doesn't have low defense for a stamina set-up.
Here are some tests to back up my claim on B:D's defense (Please comment if I post the tests wrong. I've never done this before. Thanks!)
Here it goes...

I used a semi-worn RF, a T125, and a regular face, so this attack combo doesn't have near as much attack power as MF-H Flash Orion GB145R2F. I also launched around 80% to maintain control, but with a stronger and more skilled launch, The attack combo may have been more effective. I still used the same launch for all tests.
According to these tests, B:D at
least matches, if not surpasses an AD145WD set-up in terms of defense, however, it still should not be used as a defensive part, since CS obviously out-did it. I am going against the popular opinion here, just to make sure there is no misconception about B:D. I think that many people may discredit B:D because, if these test are correct, it is dominant over other stamina parts, similar to the libra wheel. Nobody wants something like that to happen again. They may not want to accept that B:D ouclasses many popular stamina parts, and has considerable defense as well. But, again,
