So let's get down to business. I'm sure a few of you have thought of this, and it does surprisingly well in today's confusing metagame. The MF-H provides extra weight to lessen the knockback from Basalt R145. Horogium both looks good with Basalt and is slightly unbalanced, so we are placing Horogium on Basalt like
Basalt is very heavy, which lessens recoil (this is extremely important), and the spiral staircase of death creates huge amounts of blunt attack. Its small diameter also pairs well with R145, since Basalt just extends slightly over R145. R145 provides even more weight to the combo to lessen the huge amounts of recoil this combo shall receive. Plus, R145 creates, as we all know, massive smash attack, and to make the combo more unbalanced (more attack power and speed too), we place R145 on Basalt like
RF provides friction and traction for the combo, giving it high attack power and making it more difficult to KO. The RF is in prime condition for a perfect balance between stamina (or, whatever stamina a rubber bottom has) and controlled high-speed attack.
So pretty much, this is an Anti-Attack combo. It also helps that the shape of Basalt makes attacks on it less powerful. This combo has enough power to KO Fang Leone S130RF (into my neck mind you) as it runs out of spin.
So. Time for the tests!

Hm, maybe the Italian community could use this. XD
Erm, I only have 1 Basalt, so I can't really do defense testing. I also don't have TH170 and WF yet, so I can't do balance testing. It's much appreciated if someone can back up my results and/or provide their own testing. I'll place it in the OP with their permission. I can be requested for tests as well, provided I have the parts. Enjoy!

To make it easier to understand, the R145 should have a rubber protrusion where the 'XII' on Horogium is.

So. It really depended on who was launched first. That bey would lose, whether by KO or OS. Horogium only got the higher percentage because it hit L-Drago just after being launched, then KO'ed it with another attack, then it did a 'final attack' KO when both were almost out of steam. Horogium would lose when it was launched first, and L-Drago would lose when it was launched first. OS's occurred when they could not KO each other, in which case the imbalance of whichever bey was launched first would cause their downfall. In a tournament situation, a battle between these 2 combos could go either way.

Basalt completely stopped Leone cold. Even when Horogium was launched first, Leone was helpless. When they were unable to knock each other out, the round shape of Basalt allowed it to absorb Fang's attacks, even when Basalt had been launched first and was wobbling like crazy. Fang could only KO Basalt if it got 2 hits on Basalt's major recoil points, and then get wall-saved from the second hit's huge knockback. Sometimes, Horogium even KO'ed Leone when Leone could have won by OS (mentioned earlier).

What Horogium did to VariAres. This was almost painful to watch. VariAres would come in flying at Horogium who was slightly slower and I'd be thinking 'oh carp', then VariAres would just fly off of Horogium, and most of the time out as well. My reaction to that: Seriously, even when Horogium was launched first and neither could be knocked out, Basalt's stamina-draining properties played a major part in outspinning VariAres. This battle also made me realize how much spin this combo has at the end of the battle, it just kept going at the end when it looked like it would've fallen over already, and then VariAres would fall over first. Also, I only have one R145, which is why I used the next best option, CH120, instead.

VariAres was slightly more productive here, able to smash Horogium around a bit more. Note, only a bit. It was still getting its butt whooped by this combo. The MF-H gave the combo enough weight to stop itself from flying over the Tornado Ridge; when I did comparative results without MF-H, results decreased by 20%. VariAres would get its spin drained by attacking Horogium, and Horogium would often come from behind and throw VariAres over the Tornado Ridge. VariAres managed to get a KO when it flew from behind Horogium after Horogium was banked, and forced Horogium over the Tornado Ridge. Otherwise, it was complete murder as usual.

I don't know guys, I launch Flash well and Horogium's still got it. There were many high-power clashes between the two, but Horogium got wall-saved or, more often, just plain stood its ground better than Flash. Horogium is still the tank in my opinion.
Something interesting I noticed. Around the 17th round or so, when I launched Horogium first and then Flash, Flash moved so fast that it moved the stadium a lot like always. Unlike the usual occasion though, the movement was enough to perfectly throw Horogium out of its flower pattern and into the center, where it stayed unable to move out until it lost all spin. Something like this makes stadium movement an issue to address.
Technically, it should be Horogium winning with only 70%, but I redid that match and Horogium won. I'd like some advice on this please.

Aquario got wall-saved. A LOT. It was able to hold its ground pretty well, but the wall-saving was the real reason why it won. Basalt could only truly knock out Aquario when they were moving towards each other while Horogium had a lot of energy. Horogium would knock Aquario to the edge on the rubber part of CS a lot and chase it around the stadium, but it couldn't knock it out since both were moving rapidly in the same direction.
Enjoy!
