I use to take Old Bottle caps and Glue them to things That look like tips, Like this old needle I used to have.It was funny shaped
...my homemade beys were basically gatorade bottle caps with the little thin bottom slit thing flipped backwards to be the blades lool and id origami myself a bottom

and Slybadger, the only way to be able to make a spinning top work properly is to have the right equipment.
it's much much much easier to get a real beyblade. If you can't get any off the internet wait till Hasbro release them in spring.
