Here are my two "rules" for what i listen to-
1. If its not techno, i'll probably listen to it.
2. If its not techno, rap, or hip-hop, ill probably enjoy it.
When it comes to music, i know im very close-minded. But i have my reasons. I mostly listen to rock though.

My favourite is movie music & The classical type that is epic and get's played for trailers to movies from groups like:

Epic Score
Two Steps From Hell
Immediate Music
ect...

But honestly depending on my mood I go from Mozart to heavy rock and everything inbetween XD in what I want to listen too =P

Hip-Hop because it has powerful bass and good lyrics (sometimes it can be a little peculiar)

mine is rap because rapers always go through so much like me I live with my friend and his sister and were all orphans and we are all the same age anyway rap is my fav

I listen to Rap and Rock (most types) mostly.


J-Pop/K-Pop I dislike because I can't understand the lyrics, and metal makes my ears bleed.

I have very particular taste in music. Classic rock, arena rock, pre-2000 alternative rock, new wave rock, blues rock, and Motown. I usually won't listen to anything else.

midi is where it's at, gotta love them 16-bit musical scores.

I found myself into post rock. It's like life's greatest soundtrack. Aside from that I really love listening to immediate music, instrumental core, Some dubstep. But just these trailer music and epic core stuff just hits my soul!

I like Indian music and songs (hindi and marath). I don't have much knowledge about music. But I like all music but best are hindi, marathi and beyblade songs

As much of a cop out it is to the question that's being asked here, I really like all kinds of music. I definitely lean more towards rock music (anything that's really intricate and lavish is my favorite, that's why I like progressive rock so much), but I dabble in as many genres as possible. I enjoy De La Soul and Rakim in rap, Bjork and Little Dragon in trip hop, Pink Floyd and Rush in progressive rock, Flogging Molly and The Clash in punk, Fleet Foxes and Hanggai in folk, The Smiths and Gorillaz in pop, Steely Dan in jazz, Daft Punk in electronic, and a whole ton of rock bands like Radiohead, Primus, My Chemical Romance (well, really only The Black Parade), Linkin Park, The Who, Led Zeppelin, Journey, Switchfoot, Queen, Muse, Meat Loaf, Blur, Jethro Tull, Matchbox Twenty, and more.

I'd say I'm a metal head, but technically the majority of the bands I listen to are metalcore (a combination of melodic metal and hardcore punk) like Bullet For My Valentine, August Burns Red, Memphis May Fire, Killswitch Engage, etc.. but I like heavier stuff too like system of a down, korn, avenged sevenfold, slipknot, mudvayne, blah blah blah....

My favorite type of music to sing because it conforms to my voice is probably more subtle rock like some Linkin Park, Mayday Parade, The Fray, My Chemical Romance, Panic! At The Disco and others like them.

I like so many genres of rock honestly. I like some dub step stuff, but not much. Celldweller is cool though because he combines hardcore with dub step.

VGM is completely taking over my life, it's astounding.

decided to do a little music checking and apperently got 11 hours worth of VGM on my laptop, my phone contains about 50% of it's storage, though amazingly kik works fine but skype has pooped out since then. 150+ tracks, will do some damage eventually to it.

I like rock genre. And listen to rap sometimes. I like loud songs (really loud).

dubstep. don't question it, just dubstep. you'll find a lot of that from me on musicshake.

I honestly will listen to anything from Rock to Classical (Andrea Bocelli ftw) but I went with law of numbers. I have more rock on my iPod than anything else so I voted that. At the moment my favourite bands are; ONE OK ROCK, Avenged Sevenfold, Icon For Hire and Ling Tosite Sigure.

Other.... Industrial, EBM, post-punk, goth, and synth pop. Some bands I enjoy like The Sisters of Mercy would fall under the rock category.

Alternative rock/rock.

try listening to Foxy Shazam, Seven Circle Sunrise, of Stoplight Observations.

I've kinda grown up on metal/rock/Christian, so I listen to that a lot. I also like techno/dubstep/dance/some classical. The only music I don't like is rap and country because of most of it's subject matter in mainstream n such. I really like video game music too. GEEKY I KNOW. LOL
