Lol. That's pretty old. I wonder where my huge collection when to... I even have unfinished sets. I still remember one which had a giant 'gun' launcher where you pull the trigger to rev up the motor. Then pull the lever and *zooooom* . they just 'fly' out.

Oh! And (off topic) __meteor__, your sig reminded me of something. I went to a Japanese toy store once and found 'ankh hand(there were many)' . It was like a 2 part put-on and strap on glove . Great for cosplay or scaring Deikailo(I have no idea why) . I also wonder what happened tomagna/metal b-daman. It seemed quite cool. Only problem is that most b-adman fall short, and the marble comes into contact with the stadium/floor, thus reducing the performance of play. I really hope this series is good but I just can't let go of the old series for some reason

I'm gonna get Accel Dracyan And Rev Dravice. They look amazing
Accel Dracyan comes with a metal Core and Rev Dravice Also comes with one, but its supposedly stronger. Idk, but Rev seems interesting. Hope to get more into the hobby, but also hopes it doesn't cancel Beyblade. Its cutting it off right now.

the time I started to dislike them was when they changed the design of the core. I seriously think that was there first mistake, but i'm glad I read this thread, I just found my lucky I think it's Rokuso? the red dragon one, and my Wing Ninja.

I was wondering, that link Shabalabadoo posted, is that the new B-Daman products? Is it a prototype of the new ones?

Can you buy these B-Daman's called "Rev Dragonice" or "Accel Dracyan"? I want to start a store just for B-Daman's, I will order at least a dozen of them if anyone has link. Hopefully I am on topic..

They are already out. They are on ebay also. Shark, Accel, Rev and a Scorpion one has come out.

i'm guessing you mean japanese/american ebay, I just checked english and nothings on. so is this thread only for the new B-daman, or general B-daman discussion? if it's not general discussion I just want to say I hope this series turns out well, it looks more like the original series, which I think is better.

I searched ebay and it said "0 Items"...

very nice! I'm seriously digging the sleek designs instead of the old blockish figures!

It was originally You verse each other and you would try to hit a target on the opponent's B-da. But that caused injuries. Now you hit targets and solve challenges to see who gets the most points in one turn.

Where do you buy the targets? Are they electronic?

well there are many games, i'll tell you some:

DHB: where you have to have the DHB extra, basically you fire the B-daballs at your opponents B-daman aiming for the part below the barrel, which when hit stops you from shooting, and the one who can still shoot wins.

shoot the gap: ordinary B-daman, all you do is line up the pins, with gaps inbetween. you have to fire the B-daballs through each gap as fast as you can, without knocking down pins.

another one: you need the puck, you shoot at the puck and the person who gets the puck past your side wins.

there are some others too.

So it takes one shot to win? Is there anything electronic involved? What targets was BC talking about?

No, they are plastic barrels. No Challenge field on ebay yet, but they are on the takara tomy website.

Hitting each Barrel is 50 Points, thy are also Walls to bring down and Obstacles to.

I noticed they have something similar to BB's, they have CB's. Anyway, they have some new ones up there.

A heavy Metal Core painted Gun Metal Black, CB-06, CB-12, A core with 2 rollers for extra power, A plastic core pack, An Accel set that comes with a special type of loader, and something that seems to be a beypoint card type thing, A rev set that come with a Bowl Loader, Barrel, And some accesories

What are "Tune-Up" Gears and Cores? Are they custom things
