The convention may be able to lend you some.

Mate, I was joking. I weren't expecting you to send cameras. If anybody wants to record then you will need to provide your own equipment.

Couldn't i just ask the con guys for cameras and stuff?

I have added your sister Blitz. Also, regarding camera's. You can try and ask but I would't say that it would be a definate yes.

I have also changed the Tournament title to: Beyblade Spinoff: UK Revolution. The 2009 wasn't needed as we all know it will be held in 2009 as a date has been provided.
I have exams then... Unhappy
Guys, we are getting somewhere! I spoke to a member of the MCM Expo. They are willing to provide space to "demo" these products in the terms of a tournament and free-battles within the Expo hall. However, there is a catch. We can't sell products within the arena, if we did then we would have to pay. To be honest, this is a fair deal as dealers pay lots of money for a stall.

So I can say that this is progressing quite well. However, I need a rough idea on floor space that would be required. So Brad, what size room do you tend to use for your events? We have an est. 15-20 turnout...I'm unsure how many of these people will enter the tournament, so confirmation is required ASAP. If you can post here on whether you will be entering the tournament, then please do so. I will then edit your name accordingly.

This may be for just a single day or both days. With the second day being free-battles. However, I'm unsure as I would like to socialize with my closer friends as well. I will speak to theINtoy regarding anything they can do regarding prizes for the first and second placed players.

Any thought and ideas would be great. Can I also ask who will be able to provide stadiums. Chances are are that I will be providing four/five stadiums as I'm the host. We would only need 6 to 8 stadiums for the event, 6 being the most likely amount. This would mean that we need six judges as well.
Six stadiums? At BND we used 3. Tongue_out

I'll get back to you on floorspace.
Actually, we want it to last the whole day. We will use 3 - 4 stadiums. So it seems that I may be providing all the stadiums. The guy I spoke to seemed very nice and supportive. This could be a great success for everybody and WBO.

Assuming I can get a logo sorted out, I may get some leaflets printed with some URLs to handy Beyblade websites. I may also consider getting a few T-shirts sorted for the event, only 2-3 T-shirts though mind you.

I have taken some measurement and have decided that 10ft - 10ft should be adequate space.?
Wow, you've got a lot done already. Awesome. Joyful_3

I'll be there for the Saturday (and compete in the battle), not sure about Sunday. Depends how shattered I am and if I have any money left. XD

Also, is the price of a stall even worth considering or is it way too much? Plus what about unofficial selling? If you just bring a bag of stuff and sell it........they may not be to happy but I don't think it's illegal. Or you could just sell stuff outside of there. Or you could get people to put their order in at the tourney site and then go outside to sell them. XD

Plus are those T-Shirts coming out pf your own money or are you wanting donations? Or it could come out of the (possible) entrance fee? Or you could justget whoevers gonna wear them to buy their own.

Also, do we have a set time yet. Because I was thinking that anyone who doesn't get a fast track ticket might not get in till like 1:00. The queues get preeeetty big. I think last time I ended up getting a normal ticket and by the time I got in it was like 1:30. D: So are we gonna have this later or earlier? Plus I also wanna spend time with friends.....
i think the shirts should be out of donations so it's fair.
One answer at a time.

The price of a stall would work out to be about £200.

You could sell your personal stuff outside of the event hall.

I doubt I would be selling anything as I'm gonna be bringing alot of gear anyway.

The T-shirts would be out of my own pocket. I would wear one, so there would be two spare for judges or something.

I would advise buying a fast track through the internet. I would been in early to set up regardless though. This event will most likely be an all day thing. I would aim to get the tournament started as earlly as possible. The Expo times are:

Saturday 23rd: 11am - 6pm

I would aim to start things rolling by 12 midday and 1pm at the latest. This gives us five hours to get the tournament in. I doubt it would take this long to get it finished.
I'm pretty keen on entering the tournament, & My sister will be entering aswell.

+ well done on getting this all sorted so quickly Grin
£200? Geez, I guess that's a bit much. ^^;

I will be buying a fast track I was just thinking that a lot of other people might not. Still, if it starts between 12 and 1 that shouldn't be too much of a problem. Besides, if people really wanna compete then they'll get there on time. Smile
Beyblade War Room and Beyblade Spinoff are on the same day! How cool.
I will have some updates for everybody by tomorrow. So keep watching this space. This event will be extremely successful and good for the community.

I also won't be selling goods at the event so I advise everybody to by from theINtoy prior to, a week before, going.

This will be insane. May we both be successful!
i will bring a stadium! Tongue_out
MFB stanima atdium ok?

i was planning to bring it anyway to look good with my cosplay XD

This is a WBO event. Chozen has not been here in a long time, and as the WBO chairman, I've taken it upon myself to relegate control to Espio. Planning needs to proceed and this is the only way to do it. If Chozen has a problem with it, he can take it up with me.
I'm not sure whether I want to do this all official inside the expo. I don't particuly want to do this for two days and will need an additional person with me to help me out. We could hold a tournament outside on the green area if you all like?

Also who where you before Hamix?

This event would be done on two days. MCM do not lease space for just a single day. So my plan is the tournament and free-battles on Saturday and free-battles on Sunday.

I would like somebody to step in and support me at the event. I don't want to be standing by myself for hours each day lol, will be pretty boring. I will offer a room share in a hotel to whom ever feels like they would be able to help out.

All this person would need to do is help me with the placement and keep everything in order.
If i was a lil older and wasn't going with all my friends i would jump at the chance. maybe in a few years time...
Anyway, i simply can't wait for this years expo!
i bet i'm gonna do badly but it will be so fun. for some reason i imagened it to happen outside ??? i bet there will be quite an audience to watch us play, it may get new people back into beyblade. how awesoe would that be Eee
You should advetise the WBO to possible new fans
I have decided to opt out of the inside venue. I will also be pulling out of the running of this event as I have realised things that slipped my mind. For one, I'm working the weekend as I'm off to the states so I need the money and two I won't be able to attend the expo because of me working the weekend.

Please accept my deepest apologise. If anybody can step in then please feel free to do so. ChozenBlader is welcome to come back and take it over.
Wow. Espio is really running this very, very well!! I'm impressed. I might not come because I just ordered a HMS Beyblade just for the Tournement. But now it's MFB now so.....
where ever it's held i'm happy it's going ahead!
i'm not familier with the area around the ExCel centre, i will need somne kind of idea where it is from the main enterance. my first time going was just last october you see and all i did was buy, buy ,buy!
Wow that sucks that you're busy. D:

Okay, looks like we need new organisers. Espio if some new people step up will you be able to give them all the information and stuff that you've gathered and put them in touch with theintoy in your place? Gasp

Can We have a video confrence?:3
Did you not read my message. I wont be running this event now. I wont be able to turn up for the event as im working on that weekend. I also need the money for that weekends work. The event would be a weekend thing inside the expo. In other words i wont be able to turn up to either. I apologise for the major up set and i fully understand if you want to have a go at me. I hope somebody can take this event up. Sorry again.
I don't think anyone should have a go at you. You took this on at short notice and you've got us further than anyone else has managed yet. It's a shame you can't be there but I'm sure we'll find a way.

I could be wrong but I think you missed this.
