1st round of Top 16 goes to Brazil in an extremely close math against Chile going to PK Shootout. Brazil got 3/5 and Chile got 2/5. Chile was so close on the last kick they had that would have tied the PK Shootout. It hit the bar of the goal so it didn't go in. That was such an intense game and I hope it gets better through out top 16.
@ The US-Germany thing. EVERYONE bullies the US. The US gets very few shots per game, which is disappointing. The score rarely shows it because Howard is a top notch goaltender. Meanwhile, the defense (especially in the middle) is downright awful. The midfielders are not WC level, so it is no surprise for me to see the US out after the first round of knockouts.
Also: Neymar is out for the rest of the WC. Which pretty much makes Germany's path a tad easier. I don't think Brazil's beating a full-strength Germany without Neymar. Not with the way Muller's playing.

I really hope that you´ll be proved right in the end. But with Muller AND Neuer (my fav!! He´s so reliable *_*) in our team, I´m pretty confident.
And if we lose, it may not be a shame, because ithe opponent was the Brazilian team.

I wondered if there was a glitch, but no. Man that was weird. Germany pulled an F230 on Capricorn Brazil.
I thought that game was going to be closer lol. I had a good feeling Germany would win but that was insane. I normally don't say this type of thing about soccer teams (and I watch a lot of games), but Brazil sucked so bad. I hope Argentina and Netherland play better in there game against each other, the only exciting part of the game was to see how many Germany could score.
I know I said this before but... THIS IS MADNESS! Germany beat Brazil 7-1. That's boggling to the mind, I'm used to scores like 2-1, 1-0... Not baseball scores like that! If Germany and the Netherlands are in the Final de Rio match, it will be something to watch. I hope Argentina wins because I hate the Netherlands! Watch the Netherlands vs Mexico game and you'll see why. (I am a Mexico fan, we went undefeated and got knocked off because of one damn game that was fudged by the obviously one sided referee.)

My favorite team wins and they will win the whole thing as well, I know it. Romero was on fire in the shootout nearly blocking all of Holand's shots.

I don't think Argentina proved the Netherlands suck. If anything at some points it looked like the Netherlands would win.
Brazil needs to step it up when they play the Netherlands. Taking out two people and they lose 7-1 is pretty pitiful considering I thought thy could hol on a little better, although they barely made it out of their previous games so I guess there wasn't much to expect IMO.
I'm pretty excited for Argentina and Germany's game. If Germany plays like they did against Brazil Argentina better be ready. I'm hoping for an exciting final this Sunday!
