By the way, this is exactly what I did last tournament.

Doing the tournament by paper is much slower than by computer, but if that is what you want. Also, friends will end up fighting friends much earlier on by paper than computer.

To anyone who would like to host, they should do it during mid-July.

Anyway, here is what my schedule looks like:

June 25-26 = Pride weekend (do not host; too much traffic)
July 2-3 = Fourth of July weekend (do not host; too much traffic)
July 11-12 = Free
July 18-19 = Free
July 30-31 = Otakon (I will be away)

Pick around that so I can bring prizes/stuff to sell so Alex can make a profit, you don't have to pay for anything, and people are happy because they get the opportunity to purchase beys.

I think the 19th would be best.

Yeah, I'll do that, although need to confirm with the parents before I commit to anything.

Once you confirm it with your folks, I'll clear it with Alex. If you do host this tournament, you'll be 2/5 tournaments to a Metal Face.

lol. no, 19th is the day of father's day.... of JUNE... however the tournament we're planning is in July. wouldn't make sense anyways. y would we make it on father's day?

Yeah, if you want one, organize one. If you can get eight people together, run a mini tournament.

Even when I hosted a tournament with three days notice, I still got 16 people. No matter what you do in NY, you will meet the minimum.

okay. i'll just send the tournament proposal then (and sorry about the late reply, haven't been on the WBO lately. been too busy job hunting... been applying non stop...)

for future reference, i intend to host tournaments at this venue later in the summer.
