I used to not like it but Now I'm watching all the epispodes on youtube!!! Its not that bad of a show in my opinion...but what do you guys think of Digimon- basically just wat you think of the story and concept.
Digimon Tamers is one of my favourite shows ever. So well done, and it never got the credit it deserved.
After tamers it went downhill. Really hated frontier...
Yes Tamers Ruled hard. Frontier I watched... but half of it made no sense at all. There was one thing with Tamers I never got to see though. There was this chick with a big scary partner called Dobermon and I never got to see that stuff... was it in one of the movies? or was the series chopped up some how?
I love Digimon! The first and third seasons were the best, imo. The fourth one was stupid.
after tamers i stopped watching. though everyone ive talked to agrees that frontier sucks. they also agree that savers is pretty good. right now im trying to find all of adventure but not to many episodes have been subbed
Digimon was GREAT!!!!! I watched up to season 4 cuz the whole concept of Kids turning into digimon was lame. Season three was really deep which I enjoyed alot and Season 1 and 2 had lots of action and comedy I loved it I even made my own evolution of Digimon. Kickmon, Judomon, Ninjamon, and Magna-Ninjamon. =P

Alice and Dobermon. No, it wasn't chopped up; she only appears for one episode.
I watched seasons 1 through 3, and the 4th just got out of hand.
I loved it until Frontier. I thought the spirit thing was a stupid concept, but Savers looks awesome.
the movie was the best

i watched it like 7 times in a row when i was a kid
I like Frontier, kinda.

Which part?
all of it
My biggest problem was the lack of partner Digimon, but Duskmon was kinda awesome.
my biggest problem is that it was directly after the best season of digimon by far

So very true. Guilmon became one of my top ten favorites
Thanks I'm not sure how I missed her appearance.. I thought I saw all the bloody episodes... damn it! Frontier has some really stupid attacks and stuff. Like Lobo Kendo? With lightsabers that basically were batons? That was stupid... But the fire thing had some nice moves when it fused with beast and human form.

OH I did discover something about all that

You know how in season 2 they had the eggs? Well each one of those that had 2 eggs had a beast and a human form

Flamedramon was human
Raidramon was the beast
BEELZEMON LOVE????????????????????

I haven't actually seen anything past the 4th season, to be honest, I thought they got out of hand when they kept adding on so many more seasons, with NEW characters every time.

But the Agumon in Data Squad looks amazing Chocked.

actually past season 2 the shows really have nothing to do with the previous one(from what ive seen). its just their way of keeping the series alive without having to put it through a ton of renames
I liked Frontier Unhappy

I liked the V-Tamer manga, but I couldn't find the last like 3 chapters online anywhere...

And Tamers I loved. I still bust out shouting "DUKEMON" whenever I play Digimon World DS. And Beelzemon! <3

I didn't really like savers. I liked how the Royal Knights were involved, but I couldn't connect to it at all.

tamers had ryo who was bffs with ken from season 2 and was seen watching the diabolomon (or whatever his name was) battle with ken in the second movie.

but ryo crossed demensions into the tamers universe and stayed there.

dunno if this counts.
Digimon was probably the first anime I really got into. What's funny is, first time I saw it, the first thing I thought was that Mimi vaguely looked like Aerith from FFVII, back in Digimon Adventure.

Yes, we noticed. They actually emphasized that fact in the Japanese OP for Adventure 02, where they showed all the human digimental evolutions + Patamon and Tailmon's natural evolutions - Fladramon, Shurimon, Digmon, Angemon, and Angewomon - in a row, then the beast digimental evolutions - Lighdramon, Horusmon, Submarimon, Pegasmon, and Nefertimon.

Of course Tamers was the best, but I really think they could have had way more strategic options with the Card Slash system than we saw put to use. Shuichon, Kenta, and Hirokazu getting partners seemed like nothing more than gratitude for being comic relief the first half of the season. I liked the fact that the hero of countless Japanese Digimon games, Akiyama Ryo, actually played an active part in the last saga, though him also being in the 02 universe with a young Ichijouji, a plotline explored in one of the video games, was never really explained. Ah well, it gave people something to research. Too bad we got gypped out of seeing any of his evolution scenes. I mean come on, they even gave an evolution scene to the Mexican girl's Gotsumon in the International saga of 02!! Where's the justice?! Oh, and Ichijouji Ken was the only cool character in 02. XD I'm really glad they didn't show Wormmon's digimental evolution, because having Puttimon appear would have probably dumped Ichijouji's reputation down the drain. XD

Adventure itself really had that desperate journey feel to it, which seemed kind of raw at first, but it steadily grew on me. The Eighth Child saga was great, and I laugh to this day about how much FOX KIDS built their whole lineup theme with suspense-instilling commercials. Even though we all knew from ep 21 that Hikari was going to be the Eighth Chosen Child.

Frontier was only interesting to see what kind of wacky new evolutions and evolution methods they could come up with next. The concept of the Ten Element Spirits was pretty cool, especially the whole ferocity of the B-type Spirits, though they kinda gave up on that after Garmmon and Vritramon. Bolgmon, Shutumon, Blizzarmon, and KaiserLeomon (and to a lesser extent, Velgmon) all seemed to handle their B-Spirits effortlessly. What does that say about Takuya and Kouji? XD The Kouichi plotline was a good one, though it really drove the spirits concept out of control, constantly flinging spirits at each other for the Hyper Spirit Evolutions, which were utterly useless until they figured out how to form Susanoomon.

Oh, something mildly amusing I noticed about every season of Digimon: episode 21 always focuses on whoever's going to be the next Chosen Child. In Adventure, ep 21 was where Taichi went back home after defeating Etemon to visit Hikari. In 02, episode 21 was Ken's flashback about his brother. In Tamers, episode 21 was where Juri met Leomon. In Frontier, ep 21 was a battle with Duskmon. In Savers, episode 21 had a lot of Ikuto airtime.

Did anyone else notice how much Savers borrowed from the video games? Most of them have the player as different varities of "Digimon police," whether it be as a dungeon-crawling City Tamer, a debugger in a faulty Digimon MMO, or whatever. You can see what I'm talking about.

*wishes there was an English version of Digimon Battle Spirit 1.5*

...

*will go translation patch-hunting tomorrow*
Nice to see alot of people like it! I'm just getting into it and watching so thanks for all of your input!

The Agumon in the Savers dub is being voiced by Brian Beacock, the guy who did Takato. Then again, Yoshino's being played by the former Sora, and out of nowhere, Tohma's being played by... Crispin Freeman?! Liking Masaru by Quinton Flynn, who's had practice as roguish characters such as Axel and Reno. Smile
