well soon i may be going on a religious mission (right now i am 20) so my dad thinks i should not be spending my time on beyblades (even thought i am stuck home all day right now (unimportant reasons) and beyblades are something better to do then waste it all on the computer or tv ) also he thinks i am TOO old for beys but half of the people on here are about 20 or older

Erm... At 12, I had already decided what colleges I was going to apply to. There is no such thing as too early to save for college, unless you don't intend on going. I've saved 1300$ to help pay tuition for Boise State, NIU, or Illinois. <offtopic. 2 years is a lot of time to think.
My parents are really supportive to me.... They even gave me an MFB Attack Stadium and Stamina & Defense reshuffle set for Xmas. You guys should speak up to your parents, and tell them to support the things you like.
And they ignore us. Parents have a word for people my age. They ignore us like hobos, and treat our opinions like a mouse's.

Lul my parents have HIIIIIGH standards. If I get an 80% (A) my dad goes "Why don't you get a 90?" and on the test. He first asks, "who got the highest mark?" then, "Why didn't you get the highest? If he/she could do it then why didn't you?" If I got a the highest it would be like, "Why didn't you get a perfect??" If I get a perfect it would be like, "See? you can get a perfect why didn't you do that on your other tests?!?!" Yah..
But for my hobbies my dad likes them. He relates to it with his old ones, "before, we had wooden tops, we used to make them ourselves." Then says, "I'll buy you more if you get a perfect on your tests." My mom is just like "I better not see those around the house."
So overall They don't care just get 90s and keep a clean room.
I'm 18 and my parents are ok with me being a nerd as long as I pay for them myself.

Meh. My parents would kill me if they saw a D or F. They give me this evil look for a C, and they just don't talk for a few days for a B. That don't feel too great.
My mom is totally cool with my hobbies (WoW, YGO, Beyblade), I don't know about my dad however. I can't really tell with him since I never really talk to him, nothings going on I just don't feel that close to him haha I'm a momma's boy
But yeah I'm 14 and I go out every weekend too, my friends are cool with it and we joke about me liking it since they can't talk either because we all like YGO heh.
My parents are cool with my hobbies......My dad even is giving Me Gold Sol Blaze and Vulcan Horuseus for Xmas...My mom's ok with it. They take me to tourneys! Your parents really need to at least RESPECT your hobbies or they should

My dad drove me to a TRU 30min away for my first MFB. He sometimes battles with me. And my mom doesn't care that I play Beyblade. So I guess I'm pretty lucky.

Really, all my dad does is sit around and watch TV. Occasionally he gets up to yell about random stuff. Usually about why Matt Ryan sucks... Then he rags on me about beyblade.
