Really admirable, captain three year old. Learn to walk away.

I dont take beyblade seriously though. I really just gotta shut em up right then and there.

told me thatSmile, i still want to go and beat the meteo ldrago kid. but back to topic, for me, there's no problem most of the time, just me. (from pokemon, to bakugan, to whatever, i can't stay on one game) but once in awhile i hear it and, well, i just laugh because i know it isn't true and it's fun to hear the opinion of others, and in school when they make fun of it, i just chill (most of the time), make a cool comeback, and go back at owning whoever's battling me.(i introduced it ) Wink so pretty much i'm the problem because other than tourneys i got no one i haven't battled or somone who's good to battle, which increases bordom and stuff, like i'm bullying myself (but i'm emo or anything.)

A good challenge is always good. At least you aren't one of those people who call themselves "pros" because they beat a bunch of novice Hasbro bladers. What's wrong with being emo?
Well, my bud got all the maxiumum series beys except for befall. He doesnt know how to build a DECENT combo. He built a Grand cetus 230 rs. He really doesnt know what he owns at all.
Me: Hey dad,I found a low price stadium and comes with a rare beyblade ( Beat Lynx )!
Dad: Yeah, where does it come from?
Me: Hong Kong.Free shiping
Dad: Free shiping for inside Hong Kong.
POKER FACE
Thanks for crushing my hopes on getting top tier parts.
My parents don't give a , but my little brother teases me and I have spent around 120 USD on beys, and he has 1000+ USD worth of legos.

Did he check, or is he just saying that?
My mom gave me a $1300 loan to buy Beyblades for tournaments to resell to kids. Parents have invited me over for dinner and private Beyblade training sessions because they see me as a positive influence on their kids. I have taken many preteens across state lines to travel and compete for Beyblade.

Oh man, what cruel parents.

Anyway, who said $200? That was actually a typo. I would never ask my dad for that much. Even I have a limit on that.

Essential for tournaments, yes, and for practicing.

And trust me, if you know my dad, you wouldn't be defending him. Anyway, getting a bit off-topic..

Also, my mom keeps picking on me since I like Beyblades so much, and teases me whenever I'm practicing. Ugh. Sometimes it's alright, sometimes it gets to the point where it's just annoying.

OMG! DARKNEBULA! From what I calculated, if using the GBP, that's more than 1,000 USD!!!

yeah i know thats y im in so much...well u know what i mean
No one should make you feel down for something you like to do. If you have a hobby you love doing and it makes you happy, then you shouldn't care what others think about you. As long as you're having fun then it shouldn't matter to anyone else. Your family should be happy that you're happy!
jojo that's what we all want and the ponit of this form is to help that happen
You just have to learn to not give a hoot about what everyone is thinking about you because that depletes your self-confidence. Just be proud of what you do!
in my family were all nerds so tops arent bad also good cuz i know all the phisics of my beyblade(bad at spelling tho). proof im a nerd: beat rubik;s cube in 2 min but my mom thinks beyblade is getting old
There were some attempts to replace Beyblade like Bakugan,B-Daman, etc. but none of them were even close to the thrill that beyblades give. Ask a 30 yr old to play Bakugan or any of those card games and they won't even lay a finger on them. But if you ask them to try out blading they would most probably give it a try...

I may not be in the position to say this but Beyblades will be timeless toys and that they will be sure to endure the test of time. Grin

agreed, they'll just keep coming back. :3

So I'm getting my little cousin into Beyblading now.
I showed him some top tier combos, and he liked it.
For Christmas, I'm going to try to find a Twisted Tempo, Hades Kerbecs and Ray Striker for him. He should be able to go pretty far in a tournament with them...

Gah, I hate having to call them by Hasbro names...

It's your choice, you chose to call them that. You can still call them Basalt Horogium Hell Kerbecs...

i think the name changes were good. like what parent would let there kid get somthing called hell kerbecs? or killer gimeos? or dark cancer? the name changes are good in america
I agree but it takes the structure away from names like hades kerbecs, ur putting two nouns together, while don't u have to put a verb or adjective (killer, grand) and then a noun (Pegasus, Leon) and I don't think "gasher" has anything to do with signs or astrology, and for me gasher sounds scarier a than cancer.

I don't know how they got the name for cancer, but, when (as many know) applying it to signs or astrology, that is not relevantWink

Because your average young child is so into astrology that they would first think of a celestial crab rather than the disease that has its name said ten thousand times every second.

Thinking -> Posting. Not the other way around.
i get teased at school for my beys but whooo cares atlease i have a hobby
This thread is not about school, unless your family is in your grade.
