Well for me it was emotional. My favourite clip from the trailer was the cute plonking of the santa party hat onto Nagato's head. Blood splattered on Nagato's face while she actually makes an expression? How much more can it scream out that you NEED to watch it?

I found it nice, but not really that emotional. It had a bigger plot than the other episodes so far....Im comparing it to the episodes because all it is, is a bunch of episodes put together as they were all based on the light novels. And volume 4, the disapearance of Haruhi was a normal book.

Is it really just like that? Or is it just like an Uberly long episode?

The tenth Light Novel will be coming out soon. According to Haruhisuzumiya.net the tenth Light Novel should be packaged with a bonus Kyon story in Japan. It takes place when Kyon was in middle school. Although, the bonus Kyon story is Limited Edition. While the tenth light novel is not. I wonder if the short story will get released in english...? Has anyone found any good Haruhi AMVs? The Skittles one is the best. I also like this one. It fits here well. I got hooked on this song after this AMV ^^

Does anybody here even read the Light Novels? Or tried to? I thinking about getting one, but I'm wondering if it will be a waste of my time.

Also, in Japan they are coming out with a new Haruhi Suzumiya Video Game. It's gonna be for PS3 and PSP. The sad part, We don't even have a single Haruhi Suzumiya Video Game in America! Where is that Haruhi game we deserve?! At least the DS doesn't have region lock. And I'm pretty sure the Wii doesn't either. The only problem, I have a feeling these games have a lot of text... Darn it...

I read volume 1 last year. I borrowed volume 2 from the library, but didn't read it because I was to lazy.
They're pretty good. That's what started the series.

I know that's what started the series... Which one did you read? Was it the first?

Also, according to haruhisuzumiya.net the tenth Light Novel will be split into 2 parts. Only thing I'm wondering now, will both parts be released at the same time? (I think so)

Im currently reading volume 6 I've read all the manga and watched all the anime. After 6 I will go on to 7, then 8, then etc.

And hopefully, due to the new upcoming release, some of the other light novels will be animated!

I hope so. If they don't make a season 3, then I'm gonna do that thingy that happens in every manga series where your soul floats up out of your body, while your body is all Chibi like.

I need to catch up on the series. I still didn't watch all the episodes! XD lol.

EDIT: Also, today in Government class I made a funny little drawing that was using an idea from Haruhi Suzumiya. It was an idea using the Endless Eight story arc. I will upload it later...

EDIT: Here is that funny little doodle that I posted about earlier. XD That would hurt if that happened every day for 1,000+ days in a row. Obviously this isn't very original. I saw another picture doing the same thing but with Kyon and Koizumi. I don't know if it was in an episode though, I'm about to start the Endless Eight Arc right now! XD

I just finished Endless Eight. It was a waste! All he had to do was ask for help with his homework?! I was hoping for a super awesome ending. I was at least expecting Kyon to tell Haruhi that he like her... I can't believe that's all he had to do! that's it, I'm not watching anymore Haruhi for the rest of the day! (unless my extreme case of Haruhism kicks in)

XD I lost track of what episode I'm on. I'm still in the endless 8! I think I'll go watch it now.

My suggestion: You only need to watch the first 2 and last episode of Endless Eight. Other than those, they are all the same. If you already watched a few, just skip to the last.

But that would be cheating. Every good Haruhi fan watches the full endless 8.

Yeah, Bey-Heart is right, endless eight is a good idea of strange and thrilling but is also so repetitive and boring.

KyoAni really flopped by actually animating the endless eight. Its what made TMoHS lose a lot of fans. It was a waste of 8 episodes..thats most of season 2..

The only thing they gained was they could cut down on animation costs since only minor edits had to be made to the episodes.

My advice, do what bey heart says:
Watch the first 2 EE, and the last. Period.

Not to mention that when you get about 5-7 episodes into it, you start to think that they are gonna repay your time by giving you some big spectacular ending. Wrong! He just does his homework! That ending is probably what made most of the former fans mad. I can't really blame them. How many hours is even wasted watching the episodes? Lol.

Bamboo Leaf Rhapsody (Or whatever it's called) was a pretty good episode though...

Then watch it dubbed. Wendy Lee and Crispin Freeman are some of the best VA's EVER.

If you watch it on youtube, Pokeking3300 has every single episode dubbed. Just look him up, he has it all! Man, though I wish Kyon and Haruhi kissed or something at the end of the series. And what about The esper, koizumi? He and Miss Sasahina were silently dissing each other. What ever happened? Did they make up? And Nagato.....SO MANY UNANSWERED QUESTIONS!

In the first season, yes. But they never did in the 2nd!
