Check-in, Registration & Participant Limit (24) Details

Tournament Check-in Details

• Check-in begins at 11:00AM.
  
• Check-in ends at 11:30AM. We will begin the tournament shortly thereafter, if not immediately so please be aware.
  
• If you are running late please send me a message directly or post on this thread, otherwise we will start without you.
  
• See more details under the "Need-to-Know Information" section at the bottom.
  

Registration & Participant Limit Details

• This tournament has a maximum participant limit of 24 players.
  
• If you are certain you can make it, please hit the blue JOIN TOURNAMENT button at the top of this page to register confirm your spot! 
  
• Once 24 players have registered, you will not be able to enter the tournament.
  
• As such, only users registered on the list at the top of the event page can participate in the tournament. No exceptions.
  
• If you are unable to make it to the event, DO NOT hit the "Join Tournament" button. If you need to withdraw, hit the UNJOIN/LEAVE TOURNAMENT button.
  
• If something unexpected comes up last minute and you cannot come, please post in this thread. Any players who sign up on this thread and do not show up without any prior notice will receive a warning in accordance with our Community Rules.

Location

Unlike previous events, given Fan Expo happening at the Metro Toronto Convention Center, we will be playing at Roundhouse Park. Just south of the MTCC and across from the CN Tower/Ripley's/Roger's Centre. There is parking all around the area, including below the park itself, though it may be tricky to navigate this weekend.

Public transit is 100% recommended as the park (and Expo) are right by Union Station. We will try to be as close to Bremner Blvd. as possible.



If you have any questions about the location, time, or date, please feel free to post about it below. 

Any updates to the venue location or rescheduling will be posted by me on the morning-of, at the latest.

If you see nothing posted to the contrary, assume everything is continuing as outlined here.

Tournament Match Type Info: Bring 3 X Beyblades! (3on3, WBO Deck)

The First Stage of this tournament will be played using the 3on3 Match Type found in the WBO Match Types Guide. 

The Final Stages of this tournament will be played using the WBO Deck Match Type. We will be using WBO X Format Rules found below:

Have an Xtreme Stadium or Deck Box? Bring it!

We will be bringing a single Xtreme stadium for this event, but more are always welcome! 3on3 Format is also best played with a box that hold 3 Beyblades in secret, so if you do have a Beyblade X "3on3 Deck Case" (pictured below), bring it!

Any BeyStadium is fine for free play, but Beyblade X's "Xtreme Stadium" (BX-07/10/00, similar to the one pictured below) are particularly appreciated. If you can bring one, please post here to let us know. 

The more Xtreme Stadiums we have present the more matches we can play simultaneously.

As always, during the tournament while we cannot give you a set time for when your next match will take place, you are welcome to follow along with the tournament bracket on Challonge. Challonge is the management tool we use to run the event.

Judging by the number of participants signed up we will likely be doing Round Robin tomorrow. We may not do 4 point first stage and switch to 7 just to make the most of the event and maximize game time. Here are the brackets:

Thank you so much to everyone for coming, especially on short notice. Shame the rain prevented a second event. I find it interesting that this was an easier venue for commuters to reach than High Park.
