Location

We'll likely be playing outside, in the gazebo attached to the front of the High Park Nature Centre.

This means that if you're coming to High Park via the Bloor St W entrance, follow Colborne Lodge Dr. down until you'll see the large gazebo on the left-hand side. Check the red pin on the map image below if you're still unsure.

If we aren't in the gazebo out front or on the grass, check behind the Nature Centre as well, as there is another gazebo there.

If you have any questions about the location, time, or date, please feel free to post about it below.

Any updates to the venue location or rescheduling will be posted by me on the morning-of, at the latest.

If you see nothing posted to the contrary, assume everything is continuing as outlined here.

NOTE: Public washrooms can be found just west of the Bloor St W entrance of High Park. There are no public washrooms available at the High Park Nature Centre. Do not knock on their door asking to enter. They don't like that.

Tournament Match Type Info (1on1)

The First and Final Stages of this tournament will be played using the 1on1 Match Type found in the WBO Match Types Guide. We will be using WBO X Format Rules found below:

The finalized rules will be read aloud on event day, if there are any questions regarding the rules feel free to post in this thread or ask me after registration.

Have an Xtreme Stadium? Bring it!

We will be bringing a single Xtreme stadium for this event, but more are always welcome!

Any BeyStadium is fine for free play, but Beyblade X's "Xtreme Stadium" (BX-07/10/00, similar to the one pictured below) are particularly appreciated. If you can bring one, please post here to let us know.

The more Xtreme Stadiums we have present the more matches we can play simultaneously.

Tournament Bracket on Challonge

As always, during the tournament while we cannot give you a set time for when your next match will take place, you are welcome to follow along with the tournament bracket on Challonge. Challonge is the management tool we use to run the event.

This event has been approved.
Hello everyone! I will be supplying stadiums and loaning out X Beyblades for the event, if you do not have an X Beyblade do not worry me and Dan want to make sure this is a great experience!
Immediately after this event we will be hosting a Metal Fight Limited Format tournament.

If you wish to participate be sure to bring 3 MFB beys with you! It is unranked so no pressure.

Hello JoshZ, I don't believe so. We are focussing on playing and letting people test out the new Beyblades via loaners at this event.

In the future it is conceivable that there will be some you can pick up before/after events, but I'm not entirely sure.
I can bring my stadium Smile Looking forward to this!
Hey everyone for BEYBLADE X we do have some spare stuff but you have to PM me in advanced of the event so I can deal prices so at the event you are able to pickup!

Here is what we have available: (Click to View)
Hello everyone. Judging by the amount of players signed up, it's likely we'll be using the Swiss Format for our event. Because this is our first time with the X format I will not be using Burst BeyRank to determine seeding. Instead, the seeding will be shuffled using Challonge and their improved participant management feature.

Here are the Challonge links for everyone to follow along tomorrow:

If you cannot make it or are going to be late please let me know in advance.
Hey everyone it is supposed to rain a little bit today then clear up right away so don't worry we will be fine!!

HEY EVERYONE EVENT IS STILL SET FOR TODAY it'll clear before 1!!! don't worry
We won’t be starting immediately at 11:45, to accommodate for travel and rain present please be here by 12:15 at the latest, we will start then.
On our way me and snax there soon
Thanks everyone for coming!

Here is the spreadsheet.

There were many dropouts for this event that did not contact me beforehand or take themselves off of the attendance list, which was unfortunate.

With that said, we went through with a 14 player Swiss event anyway, allowing for some less experienced Bladers to experience the "Finals" for their first X event, so that was quite nice.

I will be hosting a (potentially ranked) X event in about two weeks or so. Keep an eye out for that.
This matches for event have now been processed.
