What beyblade to get? - FrostFafnir - Oct. 11, 2020

I want to get a beyblade. I really need a defence type, the best I have is a Hasbro Evolution Bey. I don't have a superking yet, so I was thinking of getting one, so what options do I have?
Or any other good superking that isn't an attack type, just tell me.

Mirage is good and Variant Lucifer but variant is only good against left spinning and is horrible against right so I would say mirage. There’s also curse which in my opinion is not that bad but mirage if your best bet

Uhm, rage Longinus is good on its own, and glide ragnuruk and world spriggan are helpful in combos. As for a defense type... get the gt triple booster, has rly good parts, Big Bang Genesis, or (maybe)curse satan. Hope this helped!

He said no attack types so thats why I didn’t add rage, brave, or Hyperion just wanted you to know and I think he just wants superking I think glide doesn’t have enough burst resistance but I haven’t seen world enough yet so I’m not sure about that but I agree with curse satan it’s just it’s expensive right now

You should get Dead Phoenix and Revive to make Perfect. If you are just getting one then go for Big Bang Genesis

Mirage Fafnir is pretty good and so is World Spriggan.

He said other types are cool, but he would prefer defense types. Glide and world are for the combos (wheel, world, revolve, unite’, etc).  Curse is alright but Big Bang is better, but curse is a sparking bey. Dread bahamut, octa, and lord spriggan are all pretty worthwhile (especially lord spriggan even tho it ain’t a defense type)

Stock wise Glide sucks (revolve makes it burst). I think he’s talking about one stock bey not buying multiple parts so you can’t argue for Glide and World. Curse is really hard to get so it’s impractical.

Get world spriggan

Mirage Fafnir has a better stock.

Not really if you don’t want attack the best beyblade is mirage. But attack superking is the best it’s ever been compared to other seasons.

World Spriggan is really good. I don't know if it's just me but stock Variant Lucifer stops spinning so fast.

It does because of the barrier

It’s due to it’s wall like nature (scrape nation essentially)

RE: What beyblade to get? - Golden Freddy - Oct. 11, 2020

I heard that world spriggan 2d mobius/baring is pretty good rn but that’s probably because it’s not spriggan. And spriggan is known for making metas

If you think Unite' is low tier you haven't tried hard enough. Unite' actually makes a really solid Defense driver once you wear the rubber edge down enough. MFB originated that game plan with its Coat Sharp tip, which is basically the same thing as Unite and top-tier in their formats for Defense when worn down like this.

The issue is Defense in Burst sucks rather badly, so Unite' is a ton tougher to use than Coat Sharp is in MFB which in turn makes it look worse that it really is. It's really pretty powerful, but it just doesn't have anything to fit on without a big enough need for KO Defense in the Burst game, and Keep' gives it a run for its money on top of that.

RE: What beyblade to get? - Derens - Oct. 13, 2020

Whenever I would choose a new bey, i always look at the stats of them before just assuming its good. Always check for a good defense and a good attack, that's a reason I got khalzar k3 as one of my firsts beys.

Sorry, bad choice of words. I think that Unite/Unite’ isn’t top tier or low tier but mid-tier. Why you may ask, well it just doesn’t have the competitive edge as other drivers such as quick’ or keep’ (which I believe is the first defense dash driver). I do like the concept of it, but it’s just not practical in a competitive sense.

Yeah, it all comes down to being a powerhouse driver... for Defense. The issue is Defense is low-tier, even though the driver is top-tier in power. Keep' is the first and only Defense ' driver and it does its job well, so Unite' plays second fiddle to it, but Keep' is also a monster of a part. Second place isn't bad considering how many options exist by now, and if Defense was viable Unite' would 100% see some play.

I would say that quest is a top tier defense part, but defense only. In truth quest is a much better defense driver than keep’ but it’s impractical due to it’s low stamina
