Project: MFB in Old Generation Stadiums - DRAGON KING - Oct. 19, 2014

Hello, the title basically says it all, but I'll go into detail. This thread is for posting Top Tier MFB Standard and Limited testing in Old Generation stadiums. Please refrain from posting results in the more usual hasbro stadiums (the big bowl stadiums) on this thread as those could be posted in the Hasbro Stadium Metagame topic.

For testing format, refer to this thread http://worldbeyblade.org/Thread-Posting-Test-Results . Don't forget to post any different conditions (ignore the BB-10 part of that thread.).

Stadiums and Tests:

Engine Gear Mobile Stadium Tests done by LEGION KING:

Conditions:
1. Left string launchers for left spin blades
2. Ripcord launchers, Dragoon ripcord and Hasbro beytarget grip for right spin.

Standard:

Limited:

More tests to come (Spin stealer, F230 etc) and you can request tests.

Just to save time, you can call it the Hasbro Mobile Stadium.
Same as the V-Force one. I can see it confusing people thinking of the Engine Gear Stadium.

RE: Project: MFB in Old Generation Stadiums - MissingNo. - Oct. 19, 2014

Interesting testings. You posted Duo in Limited testings, it was the Hasbro version, right ?

RE: Project: MFB in Old Generation Stadiums - DRAGON KING - Oct. 20, 2014

Neo: ok Smile.
BeyBouncer: Of course Smile.

RE: Project: MFB in Old Generation Stadiums - Ultra - Oct. 20, 2014

Considering the hasbro plastic stadiums have always been widely viewed as completely terrible and there is not much chance of getting any other stadium except the Tornado Attack i'm not sure what this will prove?

You could have guessed those results without testing being done.

RE: Project: MFB in Old Generation Stadiums - Mitsu - Oct. 20, 2014

I've seen Plastics and HMS Beyblades in BB-10's for official tournament battles, although not this. Interesting.

Also, Engine Gear Mobile Stadium looks awfully similar to Hasbro's Max Stampede, Destroyer, Pegasis Thunder Whip, or anything else in its shape. Maybe, something along the lines of this would be the most fitting Old Generation stadium to test in, not that one: (Click to View)

By the way, comparison testings between both the BB-10 and a fitting Plastics or HMS one would be quite valuable, determining whether there are differences in results or not, as well; After all, that was also one of the reasons why the Super Control Beystadium was legalized, because of the comparisons between that and the BB-10's results were awfully similar to one another, I believe.

RE: Project: MFB in Old Generation Stadiums - Ultra - Oct. 20, 2014

That looks like a Tornado Balance stadium. It's very rare and usually costs a decent amount. That was what I meant in my previous message. Unless you test in proper Takara stadiums (which aren't readily available at all) then I doubt this would wield any useful results (although I question what this could tell you anyway tbh)

RE: Project: MFB in Old Generation Stadiums - DRAGON KING - Oct. 20, 2014

Ultra, It's not just for hasbro stadiums, and some older players might have TT ones they'd be willing to test in. It's just for fun , not everything is trying to prove something. Who knows, we might come across something cool. I didn't see a thread like this, so why not?

Midnight: not really, smaller diameter (?), harder plastic, it's got 3 pockets and different style pockets.

RE: Project: MFB in Old Generation Stadiums - Ultra - Oct. 20, 2014

You won't though. There's nothing to be gleaned from doing testing in stadiums no one uses these days. If it's just for fun though then that's good I guess.

RE: Project: MFB in Old Generation Stadiums - Neo - Oct. 20, 2014

I can see the Engine Gear stadium being used in one way; a final. A battle where no one Beyblade type is great.
The Mobile one is trash other then using ACB.

RE: Project: MFB in Old Generation Stadiums - Ultra - Oct. 20, 2014

Er that isn't true. There's a large difference between attack types being "great" and being disabled by a lack of a tornado ridge with the latter being true for the majority of hasbro stadiums. Hasbro stadiums are the exact opposite of balanced. Attacks types simply can't be used properly in them. Stamina types are dominant in hasbro stadiums for a reason Neo.

I said the Engine Gear Stadium.
It has bumps and ridges everywhere.
It's easily the hardest to battle in.

RE: Project: MFB in Old Generation Stadiums - The Supreme One - Oct. 20, 2014

Looks pretty interesting! Just a general formatting note: Inside the spoilers, I would just put the number of KO, OS, draws, etc instead of listing them. If you're planning to do a bunch of tests, it's usually easier on the eyes to list how many OS there were instead of putting:
OS
OS
OS
OS... in one tag.

RE: Project: MFB in Old Generation Stadiums - Ultra - Oct. 20, 2014

Neo:
You can't tell from the pictures. Also attack would still be at a much larger disadvantage than defence or stamina.

Bearing Tips would get caught on the spikes.
Defense would be the best bet, though still not great.

I said something "Cool" not trying to legalize anything yet. It seems like some people go to every new thread trying to bash them for no reason. They're just spinning tops for globs sake.

RE: Project: MFB in Old Generation Stadiums - Ultra - Oct. 20, 2014

You didn't state clearly that it was for fun when you posted this otherwise I probably wouldn't have said anything. I'm not bashing on the thread. I was stating legitimate concerns. There was no agression in my comments. People will always give criticism, constructive or otherwise.

Thank you! I'm also glad there's a thread where we don't need to be strict on top tier combos.
