Who can bargain more? - Juv - Nov. 02, 2007 As we all already know (I didn't know a month ago) beyblades have been out of production for some years now. The only places where you can get them are either on sites like Ebay and Yahoo! Japan Auction, and perhaps some retail shops that carry antiques. As we all probably also know, new in box ( NIB ) will mean its just left over warehouse stock that was never sold all those years ago. So who do you think is in a better bargain position, the buyer or seller? Here is a few random thoughts The seller Cons: -selling old toys -selling second hand toys -selling unpopular toys -selling toys he wants to get rid of Pros: -selling toys hard to find The buyer Con: -buying toys hard to find Pros -buying old toys -buying second hand toys -buying toys that are unpopular -knows the seller wants to get rid of them You might realise that the sellers cons are the buyers pros and vice-versa. RE: Who can bargain more? - Juv - Nov. 04, 2007 tamav25 Wrote:um... i dont really get... Um.. basically I just wondering who you guys think can bargain more? So for example since these toys are really old you might expect to be paying really cheap for them right? But from what I've been reading toywiz seems to think otherwise. They are more like um 'we've got these super rare toys that no one else has so we can charge heaps for them' therefore in this case it would appear that the seller can bargain more. In another example you can buy cheap Driger MS and Draciel MS for 99c off ebay so it would appear that the buyer is in control. So overall whats your general opinion? RE: Who can bargain more? - Ichida - Nov. 05, 2007 Seller. If the buyer doesn't agree, there's going to be someone, somewhere who will agree. Within limits. At least that's what I believe. RE: Who can bargain more? - Nic - Nov. 05, 2007 Or maybe they might just be pretending that they sold out to attract customers. "While stocks last" is an amazing way to boost sales.
