The launcher effects the launch by the launch power and stuff. I find TakaraTomy launchers better than Hasbro launchers, but the Hasbro ones are far more prettyful.

Welcome to the WBO, feel free to look around. I suggest you have a look at beywiki and the What to buy in MFB thread. I also reccommend posting in the Ask a question get an answer or Purchase consultation if your stucck or dont know what to buy... in regards to your poll the string launcher gives more rpm which is useful for attack defense and stamina as added spin velocity is a bonus if thats what you meant
