Tournament Details

Please be advised that this tournament will make use of the following Optional Rules in addition to, or in place of, rules listed in the Format Rulebook:

Painted blades allowed
  • Blades can be decorated with paint provided it does not affect performance, and is not applied to areas of the blade that touch other parts of the assembled Bey.
  • Metal parts of blades can be dyed as long as they can be disassembled and reassembled without damage or any other modification. Plastic parts must not be dyed, as it may result in damage.
  • Paint may not be applied to metal lock chips such as Valkyrie and Emperor.

Reveal and reorder
  • After judge check is complete, each blader reveals their entire deck to their opponent.
  • Then, each blader may reorder their deck before playing the first battle.

Out-of-bounds finish
  • If the opposing Bey leaves the battle zone through the launch area and becomes unable to return, instead of restarting the battle, it will be considered an out-of-bounds finish.
  • You initiate an out-of-bounds finish when the opposing Bey exits the battle zone through the launch area, and score when it becomes unable to return to the battle zone.
  • An out-of-bounds finish is worth 2 points.

    These are considered against the "spirit" of the game, and inappropriate for children present.
    Players who appear to be under the influence or carry an odor of these substances will be asked to leave and disqualified from the event.
    Feel free to bring any stadiums you would like for the free play area on the side, but make sure you pay attention and are ready when called for your matches.
    Tournament matches always take priority over free play, we may have a time limit depending on the venue, and need to be respectful of everyone's time!

    Out-of-bounds finish
    If the opposing Bey leaves the battle zone through the launch area and becomes unable to return, instead of restarting the battle, it will be considered an out-of-bounds finish.




    You initiate an out-of-bounds finish when the opposing Bey exits the battle zone through the launch area, and score when it becomes unable to return to the battle zone.




    An out-of-bounds finish is worth 2 points.
    Own finish
    When you score an Xtreme finish or over finish against a Bey that did not touch your Bey during the battle, it is considered an own finish instead.




    When you score an own finish, you earn 1 point. Then, the battle is restarted.

    Own finish
    • When you score an Xtreme finish or over finish against a Bey that did not touch your Bey during the battle, it is considered an own finish instead.

    Out-of-bounds over finish
    • If the opposing Bey leaves the battle zone through the launch area and becomes unable to return, instead of restarting the battle, it will be considered an out-of-bounds finish.
    • You initiate an out-of-bounds finish when the opposing Bey exits the battle zone through the launch area, and score when it becomes unable to return to the battle zone.
    • An out-of-bounds finish is worth 1 point.
    Painted blades allowed
    • Blades can be decorated with paint provided it does not affect performance, and is not applied to areas of the blade that touch other parts of the assembled Bey.
    • Metal parts of blades can be dyed as long as they can be disassembled and reassembled without damage or any other modification. Plastic parts must not be dyed, as it may result in damage.
    • Paint may not be applied to metal lock chips such as Valkyrie and Emperor.
    Loser selects position after battle
    • After each battle within a set, the loser of the previous battle chooses their launch position.
    • In a counter battle, this does not apply if the next battle is a replay.

    Its Recommended to register using the "Join Tournament" button at the top of the event page.
    Pre-Registration: As this event has a participant cap, you are highly encouraged to register online ahead of time. This requires a WBO account, which you can find more information about here: Account Registration Guide
    Day Of Registration: registration will be open up to 15 Minuets Prior to event start.
    All players must arrive on-time. The tournament will begin no later than 30 Minuets after scheduled start time, and is expected to run for about 3-5 hours. Please plan accordingly. If you do not arrive at the scheduled start time, you risk being excluded from the tournament. The software we use to run our events does not allow us to add in extra participants once the tournament has started.


    Other Information

    Please come prepared. It is helpful for both hosts and judges if all participants bring official Takara Tomy or Hasbro-manufactured Beyblades of their own and more than one launcher when possible. Rentals Are available.

    Children under the age of 13 must have a Guardian present for the duration of the event, as tournament end times can be difficult to estimate, and we would hate for someone to be left behind once it is over.

    Be aware of your belongings. We'd advise users to please, please look after your stuff. While yes this is a Beyblade tournament and we're not suggesting that any of us would attempt to take each other's stuff it is still happening at a public venue where other people (who may not be so friendly) are going to be present as well. Of course, if you see a personal belonging lying around bring it up any of the judges so we can return it to the right person. Your co-operation is appreciated!

    All players represent one Beyblade in a deck and will play that Beyblade when it comes up in the deck's order.  Players will indicate to the judge which blade they'll be using during deck inspection.


    Stadium Orientation (choosing launch positions) at beginning of match to be determined by dice roll.  During the BO3 Final Stage, the loser of the previous round will determine stadium orientation during rounds two and three.

    We will be utilizing the standard Tarkara Tomy Xtreme Stadium (BX-10 and/or CX-04).

    One warning, than one point fault for ALL illegal launches. (Beyblade not in stadium, Beyblade hits shroud, early or late launching, etc.)

    First Stage Matches will be played to SEVEN points in this event.

    Final Stage matches will be best of three to SEVEN points.

    I would like the event to begin as close to the 11 AM start time as is possible.  I understand that sometimes people run late, but please try your VERY BEST to be at Krakenhits and both paid/registered by 11 AM.  I will allow up to fifteen additonal minutes if necessary, as per the WBO guidelines, IF YOU REACH OUT TO ME.  I will not wait for anyone who does not reach out.

    Reaching out includes the following:

    • Tagging me on the Great Plains Beyblade server.
    • DMing me on Discord.

    TOURNAMENT RULES


    Please be advised that this tournament will make use of the following Optional Rules in addition to, or in place of, rules listed in the Format Rulebook:


    Out-of-bounds finish
    • If the opposing Bey leaves the battle zone through the launch area and becomes unable to return, instead of restarting the battle, it will be considered an out-of-bounds finish.
    • You initiate an out-of-bounds finish when the opposing Bey exits the battle zone through the launch area, and score when it becomes unable to return to the battle zone.
    • An out-of-bounds finish is worth 2 points.


    Painted blades allowed
    • Blades can be decorated with paint provided it does not affect performance, and is not applied to areas of the blade that touch other parts of the assembled Bey.
    • Metal parts of blades can be dyed as long as they can be disassembled and reassembled without damage or any other modification. Plastic parts must not be dyed, as it may result in damage.
    • Paint may not be applied to metal lock chips such as Valkyrie and Emperor.

    All players represent one Beyblade in a deck and will play that Beyblade when it comes up in the deck's order.  Players will indicate to the judge which blade they'll be using during deck inspection.


    Stadium Orientation (choosing launch positions) at beginning of match to be determined by dice roll.  During the BO3 Final Stage, the loser of the previous round will determine stadium orientation during rounds two and three.

    We will be utilizing the standard Tarkara Tomy Xtreme Stadium (BX-10 and/or CX-04).

    One warning, than one point fault for ALL illegal launches. (Beyblade not in stadium, Beyblade hits shroud, early or late launching, etc.)

    First Stage Matches will be played to SEVEN points in this event.

    Final Stage matches will be best of three to SEVEN points.

    I would like the event to begin as close to the 11 AM start time as is possible.  I understand that sometimes people run late, but please try your VERY BEST to be at Krakenhits and both paid/registered by 11 AM.  I will allow up to fifteen additonal minutes if necessary, as per the WBO guidelines, IF YOU REACH OUT TO ME.  I will not wait for anyone who does not reach out.
