I finally got some free time, so I decided to test out the Burn wheel. Unfortunately, my spare DF145 was mysteriously broken, so I tried out a defense customization.
MF Burn Pheonix GB145WB vs. Storm Pegasis 100RF
MFB Attack Stadium
Burn launched first at roughly 80% power
Storm launched with banking
Hasbro String Launcher

MF Burn Pheonix GB145WB wins: 17
Storm Pegasis 100RF wins: 2
Double Knock Outs: 1
Something to consider though is that my RF is extremely worn, so these results may not be that accurate. Still, Burn still shows promise. I'll try testing again when I get a new RF.

Very interesting.
I never thought Burn could be as good as Earth defensively, but there isnt TOO much testing with burn out there.
Thank you for noting that you have a worn RF. Maybe someone else can test this to confirm or dispute!

This does definitely seem interesting, but, I hate to be critical here, I think this combination would be quite a lot less effective against a nice RF.

I just did 10 rounds of this, getting a 60% win rate for Burn Phoenix. Kinda a bit lazy atm, but results aren't too great, haha. Will maybe get more on this.
I'm disappointed, tbh; a lot of Burn's weight is focused on its circumference, so I would have expected it to do better. Obviously, it's recoil is letting it down.

Played this combo with Quezalcoatl 90RF, MF Burn Phoenix GB145WB only gets a 30% winning rate, with 1 double KO
Burn really has some recoil
