I may have purchased a midfake beyblade back in 2014 - UtopianDranzer - Feb. 14, 2021

Hello everyone,

So back in January 2014, I purchased a Takara Tomy Big Bang Pegasis on eBay. As I was opening the packaging, I noticed that the 4D wheel had excess metal, but everything else was fine. As I still own the box, I found out that the serial number was in fact A0813, and many people have already stated that this was in fact the midfake serial number and no authentic Takara Beyblade had this stamped on the box.

I have left a link here on a google drive folder that shows the pictures of the box and Beyblade (Just as a disclaimer, I have lost the PC frame): https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=1DPvdN4O7f0DqUS1ZJlg9TqMIvIo1c70Y

I'll also leave the unboxing video that I made on my old channel as a secondary reference: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J9KgUyXrXZ0&t=351s&ab_channel=battleblader90

I was just wondering if any of you guys can confirm if this is a midfake, or an actual authentic bey.

Thanks.

This is most certainly a midfake. A quick way to tell is on the bottom it will have the code A0813 code.

Thanks for confirming. So this really does mean that midfakes aren't new and have been around for well over 5 years now.
