Red Dead Redemption - Hayt - May. 27, 2010

I picked the title up the other day, and hell it's a good game.
Sure it is insanely similar to the GTA series, but he setting in my opinion sets up a intriguing and fun story line with your chase of Bill Williamson as he runs from the law. Not to mention it's array of colourful characters such as the insane grave digger and the cheating elixir salesman.
I haven't finished the main story yet but from what I have done everything just seems to click together really well.
Anyway what do you guys think of it?

I haven't picked up this game, yet (And it mostly looks like the kind of game I'd only rent) but a lot of people who's opinions I trust said it was good and called it "Gran Theft Horse"

The trailer did make it look epic as hell, though...

I got it when it came out and I'm about half-way through the story. I finally made it over to Mexico after doing enough of the story. The scenery is unbelievable and the story is intriguing. It's almost like I'm playing a movie. The graphics and horse riding look pretty good. There's so much to do in the game. Sometimes I like to just go out on my own and play games or shoot animals or rescue the occasional buggy or person being chased by coyotes.

Heya,
I got the game the same day it got out and played it through very quickly, took 1-2 days for it.
It's one of my favorite games by now and let me tell you - I am one hell of a picky gamer girl Tongue_out ( it's one of my favorites along with Assassins Creed 2 , Uncharted 2 and Shadow of the Colossus and those were all great games )
The story was very intense and interesting, but I also liked these little quests you could do. The fact that there were usually 2-3 persons you could go to for continuing the story was nice, so you could choose yourself which to do first. Pretty cool! That's exactly what I like about sandbox-games like these.

My favorite scene was probably when you arrived in Mexico and the music started playing etc. ... really cool wild west feeling! I can only give people the advice to buy this game Smile
