I don't understand what you mean by that, by all means make a thread, however it doesn't benefit anyone and especially not your friend, as she could reply to any thread thats available.

I'm very confused about how this thread is beneficial. All it does is take up unnecessary space in the Latest Posts page. Imagine if everyone made a thread like this one for the same reason you made it, whether it was just to show your friend how to use the site or similar reasons. The whole Latest Posts page would be filled with these kinds of threads, which would be unfair to people who actually want t ouse the site as intended.
