Can't really answer that without spoiling anything key to the story. Aigas title as champion will stay as Athena has no interest in the title of world champion and has other plans on her agenda.
Valt has appeared more in the recent chapters but I won't say anything else until more of the story progresses.

Sovereign Ring (Sv) - A Right Spin Sparking Ring that has 4 large and thick blades that have rubber for absorbing and dealing strong attacks. It also has 4 smaller blades for dealing follow up attacks.
Adeona IV (Ad4) - Unlike its Dual Spin Predecessors, Adeona IV is a right spin only chip that features an Adeona motif. The chip has Metal in it followed by a blue metal chip Core, the chip also features a Burst Stopper just like Belial2
8A Chassis - An attack single chassis that features a sharp design and a very heavy weight
Barrage' Driver (Ba') - A driver with an integrated disk built into it. The driver has a POM semi flat as a primary contact point on a Strong launch. When the bey slows down, two tabs retract and the semi flat tip retracts to a rubber hole plate which resembles Almights tip which makes the bey more mobile and fast

Dark Matter Lucifer.Dropper
Dark Matter Lucifer Layer (dLc) - A right spin layer with a Lucifer motif. The layer is incredibly bulky and a similar shape to a right spin Dread base. The gimmick is when on a strong shoot, 2 cyan colored blades will extend and it activates burst stoppers. The layer also features 2 symmetrical metal blades on it and it has a metal center.
Dropper Driver (Dp) a Fused driver that has a very heavy weight featuring a ball tip which is shaped exactly like Massive but made of metal which is surrounded by a POM Ring which is separated from the ball, The gimmick is when on a strong shoot; The POM Ring is raised and is stationary when on a weak/moderate shoot, the ring is lowered and is free spin . The driver also has pretty tight spring which makes the bey nearly unburstable.

That is literally not the point.
Lanes goal is to be the king of the Blading world while also have his Flare reach as high as it can get but in a very dangerous manner.
Athenas goal is to save her brother from ruining himself due to his overwhelming power and that has pretty much been set in stone since the very first episode.
While for Lane it makes sense because he is the villain and he needs strong opponents in order to grow his Flare but for Athena, it doesn't fall under her main objective. Sure she needs people to battle so she gets stronger but outshining them and taking their spotlight is not what she cares about in the end.
Valkyrie getting an Evolution just doesnt make sense and just doesn't fit when Valt has played the role of supporting character from the start of the story.
