Asking If Anyone Supports 3-D Tournaments - Dacatman - Sep. 10, 2020

I was asking to see if anyone wanted this as well as me.

We (6Jupiter5 and I) made some test rules.

Don’t have too much weight (no more than 80 grams, no less than 30 grams)

Disks can be TT or Hasbro, no 3-D printed disks

Driver can be 3-D printed or TT

All pieces will be inspected before the tournament, will be inspected digitally (send files to organizer, no shared avatars, organizer will settle disputes for an avatar)

No custom weights

No 3-D printed or modded pieces allowed

In short, ALL disks, weights, additions and chassis are required to be TT

No official pieces are to be modified or customized

All layer are to be 3-D printed (Sparking Rings, Chip Cores and Chips, GT Bases and Chips)

Ways to get Beys:

Buy 3-D printed beys from modelers

Buy 3-D bey files from modelers and order from a printing site

Claim a design from modelers and order from a printing site

There is going to be a thread for drivers, a free driver shop for files, order from printing site

Original owner of bey can decide if they want their Ring or Base to be public or private

Make your own bey and then print it

But the size and materials must be regulamented

I know I design beys but, I don't know the names of many materials, could someone help me on that?

I'll search for the plastic used in most layers but i think it's just a strong plastic

Chances are that the WBO won't allow these sort of events, so it might be a good idea to make a discord server that anyone on the WBO can go on and find out about 3d printed tournaments.

3D Printed tournaments would be very difficult to Organize. To truly decide whether a Layer or Driver is OP, the Organizer would have to print it and test it on a bunch of combos. Also the unique avatar rule is completely unnecessary. The name of the Avatar doesn't matter at all, and an Organizer has no place to decide that someone's Avatar name has to be different, especially since most people design their Beys with an avatar in mind. As for allowed materials, common things like PLA, ABS, and resin should be allowed, but there could also be concerns about judges not being able to identify the exact material, which could allow people to bypass the rules. Overall, I think 3D Printed Beys should not get their own WBO format.

I agree 3d printed bey tournament should be allowed. I would enter them since its fun. Wbo staff I think you should make this a format! They should be a ban list of parts you use on some beys tho. I think everyone would like to battle against each other with their own bey they made. I would like to help with the ban list since I am the one thinks that genesis is the best beyblade ever.

Um i hope this isnt necroposting but i agree and disagree with this
You see there are beys like backlash that have an ability thats op and then theres the one bey that just snaps right when you launch. this would also give the organizer lots of trouble as the need to know the exact material you used to make the original, and they would have to pay money to get the mateirial meaning either you would have to pay them or give them some of your material. i would like to say that if wbo doesnt make this it would be a missed opportunity as sometimes normal beyblade isnt really fun, so 3d printed beyblades have really cool abilities and some just want to show thier beys it works just fine!
