Is the Wave driver usefull? - Chickenbot1000 - Sep. 04, 2020 Title Thanks! RE: Is the Wave driver usefull? - CitrusNinja3 - Sep. 04, 2020 For now, it's hard to say whether Wave is good or not. Its LAD is certainly above average, but it's hard to find a setup that allows it to Spin Steal without being destabilized too much and forced to topple over. Surprisingly, I was able to beat Xtend+, Orbit Metal, and Atomic with Wave in Same Spin in mirror matches (oE.St.Xt+/Om/At/Wv), so it seems to be pretty good in that regard for Burst Standard. I imagine that, in Classic, it'll serve a role similar to Bullet, which is to cause Disk-to-Layer contact, but with less weight and better for Stamina matches. RE: Is the Wave driver usefull? - SupaDav03 - Sep. 09, 2020 Here’s an excerpt from Beybase in regards to Wave: “Smartsin the6 used Brave on Ds’ and Prime Apocalypse Sting Wave during the first stage. I actually lost a close match 3-2 against his PA.St.Wv with RHl.Ev’ 3A. Wave is an interesting Driver with decent opposite spin Life After Death and strong same spin performance. I feel like we might see more people try it out in the future.” Was used in the “BE A HIRO” tournament in Toronto. |
