Radiohead has a lot of electronica influenced stuff from Kid A onwards.

And Thom Yorke's solo cd.

I love Daft Punk. Interstella 5555 was awesome. Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger (the original version) is my favorite song from them.

I like happy hardcore, it's basically trance, just alot faster (165–180 BPM according to wikipedia)

Some nice songs:

Impact & Weaver - All My Life (Weaver Remix)
Weaver & Suae - Eternity (2008 Vocal Mix)
DJ S3RL - What We Do
DJ T.C. & Nex Level - Save You (DJ S3RL Remix [ http://youtube.com/watch?v=Wk9diUlTaiw = first song in the mix])
Fracus - When We're Together (AMS Remix)
DJ S3RL - Stay (http://youtube.com/watch?v=jjonnr5k2MQ)
DJ S3RL - Weekend Has Come (http://youtube.com/watch?v=cz4_0wMi1q4)

youtube links to those i could find

RE: Where the Daft Punks @? and electronica.. - Ominous - May. 14, 2008

It should be a given that I have an interest in these genres.

If you're a Torontonian, then you know of the "Drive @ 5 Street Mix" on Z103.5.

My scene is floundering right now because all of the venues we've been using are being cracked down on. A lot of them are refusing to hold all ages events Unhappy

RE: Where the Daft Punks @? and electronica.. - Roan - May. 26, 2008

I just stumbled across this awesome electronic/rock band last night when I was perusing the electronic section of the Zune Marketplace.

Their name is Pendulum and they are really carp sweet. They remind me of Muse, only with the electronics overpowering the rock, where with Muse the rock elements are more prevalent.

But yeah, they are an awesome band. I recommend their second full length, "In Silico". Some standout songs are "Showdown", "Propane Nightmares", "Mutiny" and "Granite".

RE: Where the Daft Punks @? and electronica.. - Minion - May. 28, 2008

Pendulum is k-rad. The album hold your color is amazing- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hold_Your_Colour

and Em

Funny you mention them. Would never know them had it not been for MotorStorm. Their music is so Perfect, I wish Burnout had some. Thier song Slam plays when you look at the disk in the XMB.
ROFL

Also I wanted to bring this thread up again because I wonder if anyone was digging "Just dance" -Lady Gaga? I really like it, and it gets stuck in your head easy.
anyone add what you've been hearing?

RE: Where the Daft Punks @? and electronica.. - Minion - Aug. 28, 2008

Haha, I like just dance a lot, it's really silly.

On a completely unrelated note; Final Fantasy themed Happy Hardcore Rave this weekend:
