We can see that the rubber is in the center, and without any rubber contact to the disk it won’t act as a burst preventer.

The purpose of the chip's rubber is for it to hit the top of the driver, not the disc, making the driver harder to turn. The center part of all drivers should make contact with that rubber piece on the chip. Will it help? Possibly, we don't know yet

You gotta relax dude 😂. They are just talking about the release.

How would it push down the spring on the driver?

Not the spring, but the rubber would create friction with the middle part where the tip's symbol is, making it harder to twist

From the looks of it, the rubber on Lucifer “2” will contact the center immobile part of the driver acting as an extra friction point which should (at least from a physics perspective) at least partially reduce the probability of the layer moving separately from the driver. While we will have to wait and see how effective it is, which will be dependent upon the friction coefficient of the material versus the driver plastic and the overall surface area contact, the idea is certainly interesting.

I’m especially intrigued as the whole reason I’m into this hobby/sport is because my nephew got me intrigued and then I enjoyed the physics and science behind it all. I also wonder how long the Chip Rubber will last, as it will inevitably wear down over use.

How would they do that while keeping it easy to assemble?

Maybe the rubber isn't too soft and still has some hardness to it. It's not like it would be hard to twist though, it's just a small rubber piece.

If it was hard it would break. If it’s small it would be ineffective.

Ok, but it can be soft and big and still be able to be put together relatively easily. If people can can put together Rage or Brave, they should be able to assemble Lucifer The End without much trouble.

Rage and brave don’t have rubber for a chip core.

But they are definitely tighter with dash drivers and non-limit break layers that have somewhat weaker teeth. Those beys are some of the tightest and hardest to burst stock combos, this Lucifer isn't going to be tighter than those without a dash driver.

I think there has been some sort of misunderstanding here. I was saying the gen core on Lucifer would be ineffective, and if it were to touch the driver it would be hard to assemble because it can’t push the driver down by rubber. Unless, the rubber were to be under the teeth/slope by just a little bit.

Yes, the rubber part is shorter than the teeth. The rubber piece is shorter than the prongs on the Sparking Chip. It probably won't make that much of a difference in burst resistance though.

So they have no barrier.thats good.

RE: B-175 Booster Lucifer the End 皇 Drift - Beyblade8986 - Nov. 15, 2020

Let's hope it going to be good

To be honest 1 Asahi brother won't dedeat Lucifer now. I also believe that chip have burst resistance. I also think why Lean have only blue strapes

Stripes maybe

With that entire ingot in the middle of it, just how much is that crazy chip going to be worth on its own?

I doubt it would cost more than actually buying it so around 5 maybe 7 bucks.

i guarantee it since TT probably noticed the flaw on Variant Lucifer's tip so they probably made some modifications to the bey.

RE: B-175 Booster Lucifer the End 皇 Drift - EarthHelios - Nov. 16, 2020

The driver is super big lol

RE: B-175 Booster Lucifer the End 皇 Drift - JoMario67 - Nov. 17, 2020

This video goes over the Bey.  Definitely has more stamina than Variant, and the gimmick is pretty cool.  The driver is really wide too.

What flaw did Mobius have?

I just realize that Lucifer is like Sr but it combines all defense gimmick to it like the free spin gimmick from wyvren, the gen weight from bahamuth and the gK gimmick

It’s sort of an “ultimate defense” kind of bey.
