Gold beys? - Towndrunk - May. 13, 2020 I literally just got my first order of TT items. Opened the GT triple booster and have a gold version of both spriggan and bahamut..... they certainly aren't aesthetically pleasing. I also immediately looked up and read that the molds may be slightly different than original. Does anyone have any experience with this? Should I even be happy I got gold spriggan? RE: Gold beys? - Nitrogenic - May. 13, 2020 Golden Spriggan is worth a lot and the paint does increase weight. Personally, gold looks kind of tacky to me, but I must admit that the gold Knockout Odin I got looks nice. Stay far away from Random Booster 18 if you don't like gold, that one is entirely gold recolors. So those Gold Spriggan/Bahamut draws are 1 in 72 chances. If you check eBay, they are indeed worth a lot if you want to resell them. probably worth more if you leave them in the original plastic. It probably performs the same as non-gold ones. If you like the gold Lord Spriggan, use it if you want. People at tournaments will be surprised to see it. If you don't like it, just resell it and get new copies of them. Those gold recolors are easily worth $150 or more on eBay. I actually do have a little experience with this. I got the rare black recolor of Revive Phoenix. I thought it looked weird. It didn't occur to me that it was special in any way until I asked about it. I use it frequently at tournaments in a Perfect Phoenix combo, and it's a fun experience. RE: Gold beys? - DeltaZakuro - May. 13, 2020 yes you should be very very very happy, you got what people call a Gold Turbo beyblade or Hyper Flux if like the dub. the odds of getting one are 1/72 RE: Gold beys? - Towndrunk - May. 13, 2020 (May. 13, 2020 2:11 AM)DeceasedCrab Wrote:(May. 13, 2020 1:25 AM)Towndrunk Wrote: I literally just got my first order of TT items. My little girl kinda likes it. I guess I grew fond of the gold and red mix from the spryzen. She is the one that needs to be happy so lol. RE: Gold beys? - Towndrunk - May. 14, 2020 I don't know if this is dumb luck or what. At getting the gold bahamut and lord spriggan I got another order from a totally different company and just opened the black package and got a gold naked spriggan...... like i don't even want to use these beys. RE: Gold beys? - Tucker - May. 14, 2020 Gold looks good for some beys and not for some others I feel. I have a gold knockout odin and the original. I feel the original paint does the bey more justice then the gold paint . |
