Beyblade Burst Rise Hypersphere (Vertical Drop) Battle Set - review / thoughts - bassraven - Apr. 14, 2020
Hey everyone,
received our Hasbro Beyblade Burst Rise Hypersphere Stadium on the weekend. Just wanted to provide my initial thoughts.
Stadium was pretty easy to assemble, my eight year old did it no problem. so that was good
I did find it felt a little cheaper than some past products, like the Beyblade Burst Turbo Slingshock stadium.
As for the performance of the Beyblade Burst Rise beys, it was really interesting and fun.
The two stock Beyblades that come with it definitely were designed for stadium, they did some pretty wild rail riding, jumps and a flurry of attacks. Visually was a pretty fun battle to watch!
The set comes with Bushin Ashindra A5 (defense type) and Ace Dragon D5 (attack type).
I found the best performer of the set to be Bushin Ashindra A5 (defense type). Even against some non set types Bushin seems to be the clear winner. We have the Red version of Bushin as well, and there is a noticeable difference, the set version (green) beat it every single battle.
Bushin (green) also defeated Burst Rise Hypersphere Sword Valtryek V5 every battle, many of them resulting in bursts!
Overall, my first impression is this is a really fun set to battle with, and the battles are very fun to watch.
Going to try some regular Beyblades in it next and see the results.

I share Your experiences. I like that stadium for pure fun (non competitive) too.

Air Knight K5
Fafnir F5 on par with Bushin Ashindra A5
Ace Dragon D5
I heard that Sword Valtryek V5 could be the worst Hypersphere Beyblade till now, too.

Don't forget Fafnir F5 has Rise-H which is a Xtend+ equivalent for Hasbro. It has great opposite spin performance. I would put it on top of Air Knight. I like Air Knight but the reason I am saying this is primarily because of Air Knight's weight and Fafnir has Rise-H.

The title goes to Venom Devolos. But yeah Sword is not that great.

Kind of sad that Sword Valtryek V5 is not great. You would think carrying the Valtryek name they would have put a bit more power behind it

I don't value air knight at all. Personally i think it's over powered and takes the fun out of beyblade battles as it has a 98% win ratio, making battling against it disappointing

Sounds like You are not very deep into beyblade yet. It is simply a good stock combo. But if You put its strong driver, Valor-H, on another Hypersphere beyblade and give aK5 a weaker driver, then aK5 will be beaten easily.
If there was a beyblade that really wins 98% of its battles, many people here would give their last Shirt to get it ;-)
And, this thread is about experiences with the vertical drop battleset.. get back to the root topic.

I just got this product. The green bey seems to be way better than the white one. Anyone suggest some bey's that would be more equal against the green one? lol

For Hypersphere you could get Venom Devolos D5, Air Knight K5, or Wizard Fafnir F5. I’m sure there are others as well.

Best hypersphere so far: Grand Dragon, Cosmic Kraken, Zwei Luinor, Morrigna M5. Stock combo wise

Eh, Judgement hits decently hard but has almost no burst resistance no matter what chip you use. Wouldn't really suggest it.
Also found Trick-H a bit tough to handle, though 00 is still great as always.
