Hybrid vs Ignition' Underside Shape - Biggster - Jan. 28, 2020 Does Hybrid and Ignition' have the same underside shape except for their tips? If yes and their tips aside, does this mean that both would have the same opposite spin LAD performance? Meaning both would still have the same opposite spin LAD? Both have the same underside other than the tip, however I’m not sure there LAD and stamina are the same. RE: Hybrid vs Ignition' Underside Shape - Rouzuke - Jan. 28, 2020 Aside from having different tips, metal ring weight, and spring strength, the underside is basically the same casing for both electric Drivers. Some however find Ig' to be better all around than Hy, but it still depends on how you intend to use it. Because of the alternating-spin gimmick of Ig', it tends to be used for attacking initially rather than tornado stalling unlike Hy, which only runs on the same spin direction it is set (of course, you're looking for pain if you mistakenly set the Driver spin opposite the Layer's spin direction). I see. Which one is better for opposite spin/LAD? They both have good LAD thanks to their shape, but consistent for opposite spin is Hybrid (with the spin direction on the correct setting, right spin Driver mode to right spin Layer, left spin mode to left spin Layer). I say "consistent" primarily because Ig' alternating-spin gimmick defeats the basic purpose of spin-equalization (if that's what you're going for), unless your Ig' copy has a busted balance sensor (meaning it only spins in one direction no matter how hard or soft your launches are), then I say use that since it'll have the Burst resistance advantage as well. As an aside, I wouldn't recommend "exploiting" Hybrid's balance sensor, since I tried it on mine and it didn't do the infinite spinning/tornado stall. RE: Hybrid vs Ignition' Underside Shape - MasterOfTheSky - Jan. 28, 2020 I personally would use hybrid to stall the opponent into a spin out finish and use ig’ for more attack like combos. |
