Driver fail or feature - Me-has-Bro - Sep. 30, 2019 Some weeks ago I complained about Eternal-S, but now I found the same problem with Absorb-S: When the driver hits the stadium, it switches occasionally from Slingshock mode to Battlering mode. Unfortunately, this means in 9 out of 10 launches. Eternal-S and Absorb-S have a similar locking mechanism. What do you think? Is it just a bad design that was not tested by Hasbro or is it a feature? Are Hercules and Fafnir simply meant to sit in the centre and not to Slingshock?! Everyone who has one of these 2 drivers will understand what I mean. RE: Driver fail or feature - DeceasedCrab - Sep. 30, 2019 I use Eternal-S a lot, and never in Slingshock, because I actually want to win. Slingshock mode is generally terrible. It's not an issue with your specific driver, Hasbro just designed it badly so it won't stay in Slingshock mode. Honestly, the driver is doing you a favor, keep it in battle ring mode This is the second thread you've made about this issue. You really shouldn't have. RE: Driver fail or feature - Me-has-Bro - Sep. 30, 2019 I do not want to play in battle ring mode. I opened this thread because now I already have the second non-working slingshock driver. I thought maybe someone knows whether Hasbro designed it by purpose this way. But thank You for Your opinion. Seems i have to switch drivers. Just annoying that noone complains about Eternal-S just being Eternal and Absorb-S being Absorb (even without the spring loaded tip) :-( RE: Driver fail or feature - bladekid - Sep. 30, 2019 I found it to not be a problem with Et-S tbh. |
