No one's going to call you stupid.

Hand spinning isn't allowed unless Hasbro or TT made your hand, and it is an official Beyblade launcher hand, and it has the correct number of rotations.

A lot of these rules are in place to keep uncontrolled and untested and untestable variables to a minimum.

You can get decent light launches from a string launcher.
