Let's assume that your a new player out in the wild, you already got your Beyblades in hand but you don't have a stadium to bring with it.   you search high and low to find a new stadium but you had no luck in doing so.  finding things online is a hassle. your only best bet is to buy a new stadium in any retail store across the United States.  Once you already found the perfect stadium of your liking, you decided to bring it along in the next tournament and test it out with a friend of yours.   Within hours or so, you come to realize that your beys are getting stuck in the rails, forcing you to lose speed and stamina within the match.  after so many failed test, you started to find out that most of the stadiums that you use are manufactured by Hasbro.

You might be wondering in your head:
"How do we got to the point where finding a stadium is more of a chore than meet the eye?"

Well, I glad you ask my fellow blader, stick around and find out why.

HISTORY:
A long times ago, in a faraway place, there were two companies, Hasbro and Takara-Tomy, both created stadiums for bladers to use but Hasbro wants it to be unique and cool.  Takara-Tomy rejects the gimmicks and said that it will be useless to add something that was not needed in the first place but Hasbro refused to listen and proceeded to make stadiums that were completely outside of the tournament norm.  Doom to repeat history from Hasbro,  Takara-Tomy became the only savior of producing good quailty products to the world.

Or as least that's what I think in my head.   In all seriousness, Hasbro stadiums are a little bit different than Takara-Tomy because of design choices or personal reasoning.  Hasbro stadiums always have gimmicks within them since Shogun SteeL and Metal Fight.  Takara-Tomy stadium had been simple to the core since the beginning, Takara-Tomy stadiums are nothing more than a circular bowl with some wall protection on it.  most tournament organizers use Takara-Tomy stadiums more than Hasbro stadium because of the simple nature behind it.

Of course, because Takara-Tomy stadiums are only available in Japan, bladers from the west are forced to purchase Hasbro stadiums simply because of the lack of access from finding decent Takara-Tomy stadiums.

The trend with Hasbro putting gimmicks in their stadiums has continued until burst came along the scene.
for the sake of this thread. I will only talk about the Hasbro and Takara-Tomy stadiums from the burst series and not Metal Fight nor Shogun Steel.

With that out of the way, let's begin.

HOW IT"S WORKS AND WHATS THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN HASBRO AND TAKARA-TOMY:
How Takara-Tomy burst stadiums work is pretty simple in default, there are no gimmicks and it only has an outer wall that protects the pieces from falling out when a Beyblade burst.  With nothing more than a curve surface and a protective wall, Takara-Tomy stadiums are often used by tournaments organizers and Beyblade veterans alike.

Hasbro stadiums, on the other hand, are more complex and different in terms of design and mechanics.
Most Hasbro burst stadiums have certain gimmicks, the rail system and many more that I can't think of.
Let's take a look at the Beyblade Burst Turbo Slingshock Beystadium that was manufactured by Hasbro.

The idea behind the rail system is that it will give your Beyblade a boost of speed and momentum, which gives it a higher chance of bursting your opponent's beys by a single shot at Mach speed.

But the truth is, it does more damage than good.  The rail doesn't give your bey an increase boost of speed but instead make the Beyblade in question get stuck from the rail system.  Regardless if you were using a Hasbro and Takraka-Tomy Beyblade and using it in a Hasbro stadium, regardless of what bey type you are using, every Beyblade will get stuck and makes your beys lose more speed and stamina in under a minute.

The rail system does nothing but get in the way of playing a single match and makes you lose the entire match if you lose your stamina.
Most tournament organizers will only use stadiums that are manufacture by Takara-Tomy and for good reason.

1) Takara-Tomy products are often stressed free and focused more on creating a simple stadium for the modern demographic to use in tournaments.

2) Takara-Tomy never used any gimmicks that will hinder the performances of a player's match when in a tournament.

3) If event organizers used Hasbro stadium for every tournament each year, most players will either win or lose a match more often than not and then you will get an issue when winning is almost nigh impossible unless you have a Takara-Tomy stadium.

Which brings us to our next point.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO BUY A TAKARA-TOMY STADIUM VERSUS A HASBRO:
Now that you know about the pro and cons of Hasbro Stadiums, now you want to buy an official Takara-Tomy stadium for your next bey tournament or meetup.

"But where to find it and how much is it going to cost?"  You may ask.

You can mostly find Takara-Tomy stadiums at Amazon for about $52.49, and that's for the B-09 version.
https://www.amazon.com/TAKARA-Beyblade-B-09-Stadium-Standard/dp/B00ZONIO88/ref=sr_1_23?keywords=beyblade+stadium&qid=1565302963&s=gateway&sr=8-23

Think it's too much?  Then you can get B-33 version for only $54.00 buck taxes.
https://www.amazon.com/TOMY-Beyblade-Burst-Stadium-Standard/dp/B01BORSVI0/ref=sr_1_28?keywords=beyblade+stadium&qid=1565302991&s=gateway&sr=8-28

Want something different? Then you can get the B-19 version for the cost of $41.54-or more depending on the seller-on Amazon.
https://www.amazon.com/TAKARA-Beyblade-Burst-B-19-Stadium/dp/B0167Z1CFI/ref=sr_1_58?keywords=beyblade+stadium&qid=1565303038&s=gateway&sr=8-58

Want the B-50 version?  Get it on Amazon for $46.78 plus $3.80 in shipping.
https://www.amazon.com/TAKARA-TOMY-Beyblade-Burst-Stadium/dp/B01GR0CTZU/ref=sr_1_83?keywords=beyblade+stadium&qid=1565303038&s=gateway&sr=8-83

"But what about the B-08 Dash Set?, Can I still get it at a reasonable price from Amazon?"

You could get the B-08 Dash Set from Amazon if you are willing to pay $213.49 bucks, the only upside with that deal is that you get free shipping and I'm not kidding.
https://www.amazon.com/Beyblade-Burst-B-08-Start-Dash/dp/B00ZONIG0E/ref=sr_1_144?crid=26NHSHI65VWJX&keywords=beyblade+stadium&qid=1565302563&s=gateway&sprefix=bey%2Caps%2C138&sr=8-144

Yikes!

Be aware that Amazon has a thing where fakes are more common and there's a lot of third party brand that are not Hasbro nor Takara-Tomy.  I can't tell if organizers are allowed to use said third party stadiums beside Hasbro or Takara-Tomy but I know this:

Be careful when you are buying Beyblade Product on Amazon, there's a lot of fakes and you don't want to become the next victim of a scam.

The good news is that you don't have everything from Amazon, you can get Takara-Tomy stadiums from Ever-Wish.
They have the B-09 Stadium for only $20.47, 20% of what Amazon is offering from their site.
https://ever-wish.com/takara-tomy-beyblade-burst-b-09-bey-stadium-standard-type/
It has a longer wait time when it comes to mail but if you have the patience, then you can get it in no time.

You can try eBay but like Amazon, the site has a thing for having fakes on their platform.
Be forwarn!

"But what if I want to get a Hasbro stadium if I can't afford to buy a Takara-Tomy stadium?"

Well, it's just as simple as playing Fortnite on the Nintendo Gamecube.
Amazon, Toy Wiz, Target, and any other retail chain will have Hasbro stadiums available to purchase at any time of the day.

WHY ARE TAKARA-TOMY STADIUMS SO EXPENSIVE AND HARD TO FIND IN THE FIRST PLACE?!?!?:
Well, my man, I could you one or more reasons why that's the case.

For starters, anything in Japan is always and always more difficult to buy compare to buying a Beyblade stadium in the west.
Believe it or not, the B-09 stadium is actually $14.17 Bucks (1500 in JP Yen).  And that's if you want a stadium that is affordable and we not talking about the expensive ones.

And even if you did find a Takara-Tomy stadium, you have to wait a couple of weeks and have to pay shipping fees just to get that fully functional stadium that you always wanted.

Often times you find more fakes online than finding the real ones that are made by Takara-Tomy.
You have more chances of winning the lottery than finding something real off of Amazon.

In theory, the reason why some people are buying Hasbro stadiums Takara-Tomy's is that it's easier to buy a stadium that is way cheaper and is easier to find than buying a stadium that is harder to find and is more expensive than the national retail cost. which force you buy the Takara-Tomy from an internet scalper from Amazon or eBay.
And remember, we only talking about the B-09 version and nothing else.
But then again, you don't have to take this theory with a grain of salt.
I'm sure there are other reasons why Takara-Tomy stadiums are harder to find and are more expensive than Hasbro stadiums.

But the question still remains.

IS THERE ANY DECENT HASBRO STADIUMS THAT DON"T HAVE ANY ANNOYING GIMMICKS?:
I can only think of five so far:

Beyblade Burst Evolution Star Storm Battle Set (Amazon Exclusive) ($34.93)
https://www.amazon.com/Beyblade-Burst-Evolution-Storm-Battle/dp/B071WWLSCZ/ref=sr_1_4?crid=38RT7I3UTQU6&keywords=beyblade+stadium&qid=1565305600&s=gateway&sprefix=beyblade+s%2Caps%2C142&sr=8-4

Beyblade Burst Evolution Colossus Beystadium ($14.92)
https://www.amazon.com/Beyblade-Burst-Evolution-Colossus-Beystadium/dp/B07B7Y44Y9/ref=sr_1_5?crid=38RT7I3UTQU6&keywords=beyblade+stadium&qid=1565305600&s=gateway&sprefix=beyblade+s%2Caps%2C142&sr=8-5

BEYBLADE Burst Beystadium ($22.20)
https://www.amazon.com/Beyblade-B9499-Burst-Beystadium/dp/B01F6VS3ZG/ref=sr_1_27?crid=38RT7I3UTQU6&keywords=beyblade+stadium&qid=1565305600&s=gateway&sprefix=beyblade+s%2Caps%2C142&sr=8-27

Beyblade Burst Evolution Shadow Snake Pit/Multicolor ($99.99)
https://www.amazon.com/Beyblade-Burst-Evolution-E2460/dp/B07F7MB441/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=beyblade+stadium+shadow&qid=1565307353&s=gateway&sr=8-1

Beyblade Burst Epic Rivals Battle Set (Amazon Exclusive) ($34.67)
https://www.amazon.com/Beyblade-Burst-Epic-Rivals-Battle/dp/B01F6VS3KQ/ref=sr_1_53?crid=38RT7I3UTQU6&keywords=beyblade+stadium&qid=1565307551&s=gateway&sprefix=beyblade+s%2Caps%2C142&sr=8-53

If you're really crazy, you can try to get all of the five Hasbro Stadiums that I listed.  It will cost you about $205.72-plus taxes-if you have a little bit of pocket money.
At the same time, you don't have to get all of it if you don't want to, it's really your choice.
Remember, not all Hasbro stadiums are bad, some are good while others are bad.
Just don't get the ones with a rail system within them and you will be one hundred percent okay for the rest of the year.

If you are planning to buy and bring a Hasbro stadium to a local tournament, make sure you have a gym bag that is big enough to fit inside of it.
Because I could tell you, these Hasbro stadiums are too big to fit in an average size bookbag, trust me.

WHICH ONE IS BETTER TO BUY, TAKARA-TOMY OR HASBRO?:
That's all depends on you.
If you want to limit yourself with only Takara-Tomy stadiums than go for it.
If you want to limit yourself with Hasbro and only Hasbro of your own choosing than knock yourself out.
If you want to buy Both Hasbro and Takara-Tomy Stadiums regardless if the stadiums have gimmicks or not then you have the freedom to do so.

It's all about choices and how you choose to pick which brand is better than the other.
Every stadium-be it Hasbro or Takara-Tomy-will have its flaws from time to time when you least expect it.
Take your time when buying a stadium and find the one that is right for you.

QUESTION OF THE DAY:
-What is your favorite stadium?

-Would you rather buy a stadium if it was manufactured by Hasbro or Takara-Tomy?

-Would you pay too much money for a stadium if it was Takara-Tomy?

-What is your brand, Hasbro or Takara-Tomy?

-Do you take your stadium everywhere you go when it comes to tournaments?

-Can your stadium fit inside your bag?

-Do you make your own stadium instead of buying one from online or from retail?

-Are you a huge stadium collector when it comes to Beyblade?

-How many stadiums can you stack to the top without it falling?

-Did your stadium break?

-How would you rate a Hasbro or Takara-Tomy stadium based on experience?

-Do you use a Hasbro stadium when hosting your own tournament?

-Do you spray paint your stadium/stadiums to give it an interesting color scheme of your choice?

-How many stickers did you put on your stadiums?

-How many stadiums did you own or have collected as of today?

-Do you use your stadium as a form of kitchen plate?

-Do you put water in your stadium?

-Are you having fun with your stadium?

-How many Beyblade did you fit inside of the stadium?

-If a Beyblade stadium could talk, what would it say to you?

-What's nine plus ten?

-What would have happened if you place a chicken inside of a stadium?

-Do you play with your Beyblades with the stadium being turn upsidedown?

-Did you 3D print a stadium out of a 3D printer?

-If you work for Hasbro or Takara-Tomy, what would you fix in a stadium and how can you fix it?

bruh, those are almost the same price I got the B-00 red stadium from ebay for.

RE: Burst Stadiums and You: The Difference Between Hasbro and Takara-Tomy - SupaDav03 - Aug. 30, 2019

Yeah, eBay is 100% the way to go for TT stadiums. Ever wish hardly ever has Standard stadiums in stock and the ama on prices are just ridiculous. Both the B-09 & B-33 can be found easily in eBay for $24-$36. I do NOT recommend buying anything from Amazon for TT because if the crazy prices and high chances for fakes.

+1 on getting Beystadiums from eBay.

Amazon is useful for getting okay deals on older Beyblade Burst products when they're on sale, but the markups on the majority of items there are kinda crazy.  Research for both eBay and Amazon are needed before a purchase to decrease the chances of getting a fake product.

I actually bought the b-33 in black off amazon cause I couldn't find other TT stadiums.

Tons of them on eBay now. I’m “watching” several listings for both the black & white stadiums because I need more for hosting tournaments.

Also Starstorm has a gimmick the "bowl" has a somewhat star/flower pattern to better attack patterns those going in circles gets messed up by the unevenness of the platform. Battle Tower is better in these regard despite the levels.

What exactly is the battle tower stadium like?

RE: Burst Stadiums and You: The Difference Between Hasbro and Takara-Tomy - Bey Brad - Sep. 03, 2019

lol, good thread.

I can tell you that Hasbro's argument in favour of their, uh, "unique" designs has always been that it's due to different safety restrictions internationally. But I'd guess the two major factors are:

1. Marketability — they assume their audience will be more likely to buy gimmicky stuff (maybe true?)
2. The Hasbro stadium designs can be stacked on top of each other very neatly, so you can ship a lot of them to stores for cheaper than if they were packaged like the Takara-Tomy stadiums.

Regardless, if you're planning to spend money on Beyblade, be sure you get a standard Japanese stadium first. It's honestly the most important component of gameplay.

It's still Tornado Attack. The center bowl is deeper and the ridge is thicker than on the stadiums that followed.

This is awesome to hear. I am excited to try out a new Tornado Attack stadium that I finally got my hands on.  I got a used one a while back that was probably left in the sun a bit too much (zeus basically shatter it in one go, and yes that hurt me still...).

And thank you for your kind PM.  I tried to reply but I believe you PM is turned off.  I wrote a bunch of nonsense anyway.  It all really condenses down to this:  Thank you for all the work you have done for the WBO.  The WBO gave me a meaningful and competitive way to play with my kids.

The only problem with Tornado Attack is that the walls are indeed quite fragile, and I expect that has only increased over time... all of the stadiums that followed post-HMS are much more durable.

And I'm so sorry, I didn't realize I had PMs turned off! I've turned them back on, so feel free to message me anytime. I'm sure it wasn't nonsense, and thank you so much for the kind words.

Oh no.... fragile walls...yikes.  Tornado Attack are pretty impossible to find.  It is a huge difference to rip anything MSUV in a BB-10 vs Tornado Attack in my opinion.  I better save tornado attack for special occasions.

RE: Burst Stadiums and You: The Difference Between Hasbro and Takara-Tomy - Bey Brad - Sep. 06, 2019

Yes, it's actually kind of hard to imagine since stadium breakages haven't been an issue in many years, but they were reasonably common in the old days!

The ridge in MFB and Burst stadiums is slightly angled so it sometimes acts like a ramp, propelling Beyblades out of the stadium (MFB was the worst for this). The Tornado Attack ridge is just straight up and quite deep. I do wish we'd get another true Attack-type stadium.

Battle tower is as such that there is two sides. One for two players. There are holes in the top to launch into, that leads to ramps that flow into a petri dish of sorts with a lip to keep beys in, however a light push would send it down below to another arena area. If you flip it over there are four pockets that leads to a slightly larger petri dish. The legs also have score boards.

Ah ok, thank you.
