RE: Pokemon Black/White - Crimson - May. 12, 2010 I really like the female trainers design. And I think the water otter looks adorable. :3 Grass starter is smug as all hell. RE: Pokemon Black/White - DRACO - May. 12, 2010 Is it me or are the pokemon designs getting worse every time. Apart from generation 1 and 2 there haven't been great pokemon designs lately. In my opinion the statement that they are running out of ideas is absurd. In fact if you search throughout the world web you can find numerous sketches drawings etc of new pokemon that are very well made. I'm really curious as to what direction the art will take. RE: Pokemon Black/White - Blade - May. 12, 2010 The grass starter looks sweet. This may be the first region I get the Grass Starter. RE: Pokemon Black/White - theflightyellz - May. 12, 2010 Got to agree with the general consensus that the grass starter does look awesome. Honestly think this'll be the first time I'll go with grass over fire. RE: Pokemon Black/White - bey tempest - May. 12, 2010 i really like all the starters, especially pokabu the fire starter, its a little fire pig which is so quite, for some reason the water starter reminds me of a piplup RE: Pokemon Black/White - OkiBlaze - May. 12, 2010 I havent seen the starters yet, but Ive seen the graphics. Im so excited! RE: Pokemon Black/White - Roan - May. 12, 2010 (May. 12, 2010 9:02 PM)theflightyellz Wrote: Got to agree with the general consensus that the grass starter does look awesome. Same here. The only other time I didn't choose the fire starter was in Ruby/Sapphire, simply because Treecko was such a badass. RE: Pokemon Black/White - Flame - May. 13, 2010 Fire is and always will be my favorite type....But that little thing of a starter looks useless....In fact all of them look useless,I hope the EVO'S are better. RE: Pokemon Black/White - TheLVJ - May. 13, 2010 Gee, as basic stage starters, aren't they always useless... RE: Pokemon Black/White - Otiswashere - May. 13, 2010 The grass starter doesnt look very snake-like RE: Pokemon Black/White - Rocky - May. 13, 2010 Grass does look cool but I like the fire-type best. So happy and cute and not-ridiculous looking. Hope they still look good when they evolve.... And the water one.....just, ugh. RE: Pokemon Black/White - theflightyellz - May. 13, 2010 Just for anyone who hates all but the grass starter, take a look at this http://purplekecleon.deviantart.com/art/New-starters-in-Black-White-163806955 I think it's just the expressions in the official artwork that makes them seem so unlikable, after looking at this I would probably happily take any of them. Also just noticed that the pattern on the fire starters head is like a little candle flame. Only speculation, but I think that as it gets bigger it'll look more and more blazing flame like. If the same rule applies, the little sea shell on the water type will become bigger and more spiny, possibly forming a chest plate, and the grass types tail will become more plant like. RE: Pokemon Black/White - Sam - May. 13, 2010 That water otter needs to be named.....Wotter... RE: Pokemon Black/White - Roan - May. 14, 2010 (May. 13, 2010 10:21 PM)Sam Wrote: That water otter needs to be named.....Wotter... Twatter. RE: Pokemon Black/White - Sam - May. 14, 2010 Emboar I love the design of that otter (it's uber kawaii) but the coloring makes me think it looks like a clown, and in turn, a juggalo... RE: Pokemon Black/White - Roan - May. 14, 2010 (May. 14, 2010 5:04 AM)Sam Wrote: Emboar Dude I wouldn't be at all surprised if that turns out to be the Pig's or one of it's evolution's names. That sounds exactly like something they'd come up with for the English version. RE: Pokemon Black/White - Cyber Kerberous - May. 16, 2010 Watter (pile of carp) Roastpork Treeko V2 Hopefully their evolutions will be less.... childish? RE: Pokemon Black/White - Serotonin - May. 16, 2010 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MbdVZMfXKR0 I kinda like the new Battle Scenes; and the people avoiding is a neat touch, although they seem to be moving very quickly. RE: Pokemon Black/White - Blade - May. 16, 2010 Yea the battles are much more dynamic... Also the people talking to you without pressing "A" is cool. RE: Pokemon Black/White - Blading BenX - May. 16, 2010 From Serebii, The Japan Names!: Grass: Tsutaja Fire: Pokabu Water:Mijumaru What do you Think?
