"While Ginga and the others relax at Madoka's shop, a girl named Mei Mei carries an invitation. The gang, who have specifically visited Chinatown, encounter Chi-Yun Li/Lee, a member of the Chinese representative Bey Team "Wang Hu Zhong".

Potentially, this new "team" system means that they can release a lot more Bey with a lot more freedom, similar to previous systems, I hope.

well that is a big improvement. but now it will also be harder for collectors to collect all of the beyblades. but it leaves room for more customs.

Yeah i was quite surprised when they made another girl blader i thought it was awesome and this mei mei person might resemble mariah a bit

Coincidentally, the "Wang Hu" bit can mean "King Tiger" (王虎), not so sure about "Zhong" though, although it can mean "race; species; clan". However, since the White Tigers uses the kanji 白虎族, literally meaning "White Tiger Clan", Wang Hu Zhong (王虎種???) can have a very similar literal meaning, i.e "King Tiger Clan".

Mei Mei's beyblade maybe just a recolor of a bey that's already out. Like Mao's bey was just a pink Galeon.

I doubt it will be Hikaru's actually : usually they put the owner on the box, and BB-72 had nobody.

As I wrote, the original render was not this colour. It was red and purple, nothing light. Hopefully they did not really make it pink ...
