Los Angeles Tournament Report: LA MFB Limited Smash #2: Far from Plastic - Shindog - Jul. 21, 2019 (I am going change the way I do these reports a bit. I hope to get these reports to be a bit more concise and to the point. I will try to point out 1 or 2 key things that I observed instead of attempting to give you my perspective on the meta) Metal Fight Limited is one of my favorite formats. Although Mitchjett and I didn’t do particularly well in this tournament we had a great time. I ended up in 4th place and Mitchjett did not get into the finals this time. The combo that gave us the most problem was Meteo L-Drago LW105EWD/WD. We did not properly prepare for this and I just assumed HTSC can handle this.... I was wrong, for the most part. I had largely dismissed Meteo L-Drago in the past due to it being relatively easy to KO. The meta has shifted enough towards stamina in the LA area that meteo L-Drago is a strong choice in my opinion. Thanks for reading. |
