Yes and no.
Free's great (his role in Cho Z has been massively polarized), but Fumiya has been really interesting so far. I wouldn't mind if Free came back in GT, but either:
1) Do what Xhaka and Xhan did, and have him show up to give Fumiya some advice or an episode of training.
2) If he has his own Wizard Fafnir or is still using Geist, and is just taking a break from blading.
