None of the WBO tournaments are for profit. The WBO is a not for profit organization. All of the money from the entrance fees for tournaments goes towards running the site and WBO tournaments. The idea that someone is profiting off them is incorrect. Someone should fix the thread title.

Most of the time the WBO tournament entry fees are not optional. However, occasionally there will be months where the fee can be waived.

Club Format events (7 players or less) are free-to-enter as well, but you cannot place a cap on your event specifically to do that and have to be prepared for more players which would result in a regular WBO event with entry fees.
