Definitely not. It's supposed to look sort of like a tiny Yin-Yang in the middle

Alright, that's what I had thought. Is it still possible for me to fix this or is the spring just not fixable anymore? If I can how would I go about doing it?

I haven't seen anyone fixing them, but you can use pliers. If the middle part is bent too much, just cut it off and start from there. But this is only a temporary fix, so you might want to get ready to replace it.
