It seems like some people are getting confused, so I would just like to clarify that the dragon bey seen in rbv15 is NOT the actual dragon bey, but a random combo that has the dragon core on it. The outside part is bushin, which does not go on dragon but rather on asura.

Tbh, all this contradiction is unnecessary. Using Slash Valkyrie as an example, The Layer Base is called Slash and the Layer Chip is called Valkyrie. The fully assembled layer can't have name change unless you switch around the parts. Following this logic, the three trademarked Dragon Beys are three different customizations, aall accessible with the DX Starter

I know it says that dragon is an attack type but since it can supposedly change types perhaps the ch driver is called “ “change” and can change modes.
