Yes, they get damaged. Taken from the organizer's guide:
Quote:The slopes on Hasbro Energy Layers that have played with TAKARA-TOMY Drivers inevitably are damaged, increasing their burst resistance illegally.
Mixing Hasbro energy layers with TT drivers (or TT layers with Hasbro performance tips) makes the parts illegal for tournament usage from then on as well.

Combining a Hasbro layer with tat driver makes the slope really messed up and less burst resistant
