Origin of Gattyaki/Gattayaki? - Frostic Fox - Jul. 21, 2018
I was wondering about the origin of the launching technique that the wiki spells as "Gattyaki" and some others spell as "Gattayaki".
Does anyone have any idea of its history? Or where the name comes from? Seems rather interesting that it has such a particular name, I was thinking it might be named after somebody.

Yeah, I came across that in my searches as well. So we know it at least goes back to 2012. So the kinds of people who might know would be those who have been around for a very long time.
